After CBS Show Conclusion, Judge Judy’s Judy Justice Gets Release Date

Silence! The court is back in session.

Judge Judy Sheindlin is returning with the gavel in IMDb TV’s Judy Justice this November.

Earlier this year in July, Judge Judy ended after a 25-year run. Sheindlin, TV’s highest-paid host, decided to bid goodbye to her CBS show that made her iconic.

While speaking to THR recently, Sheindlin said that the new series wouldn’t be much different from the one that the audience has been used to watching.

Look, I do what I do. So within the confines of me doing what I do, we’ll be changing some of the things around me. But I’m not becoming a ballet dancer.

Judge Judy will be joined by bailiff Kevin Rasco, court stenographer Whitney Kumar and her granddaughter Sarah Rose, a law clerk. Original executive producer and director Randy Douthit and co-executive producer Amy Freisleben will also return for the new show.

I am probably the luckiest on-air personality in the history of television to have had Randy Douthit and Amy Freisleben shepherd my program for over two decades. They continuously make me look good. With Judy Justice on IMDb TV, the magic continues.

I’ve known Sarah, our law clerk, since she was born. She will be a third-generation female lawyer in our family. She’s smart, sassy, and opinionated. Who knows where she gets those traits?

IMDb TV is Amazon’s lesser-known free streaming service that offers premium originals.

Judy Justice will premiere on Amazon’s IMDb TV on November 1, with new episodes airing weekly.

About Judy Justice

Judy Justice is an upcoming reality court show (and spin-off of courtroom series Judge Judy) presided over by former Manhattan family court Judge Judith Sheindlin.

The show will feature Sheindlin adjudicating real-life small claims disputes within a simulated courtroom set. Prior to the proceedings, all involved parties will have to sign arbitration contracts agreeing to Sheindlin’s ruling.

The series will be streamed on the free, ad-supported video channel IMDb TV and distributed by Amazon Studios.
