I’m Standing on a Million Lives Second Season Announced

Accept it. At some point, each one of us dreamed of being summoned into an isekai world. How wonderful would that be!

But what if you were transported into a parallel world, amidst the hectic time-limited adventures, where you have to complete random quests to stay alive in the real world?

I’m Standing on 1,000,000 Lives follows the adventures of Yotsuya, Shindou Iu, Kusue and Tokitate, after they get selected as a player for fantasy world quests, bestowed by magical powers and a title of Hero.

The 12th and the final episode of 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru anime aired on Friday, 18 December, with an announcement for the second season of the anime.

The official website for I’m Standing on a Million Lives anime also revealed an announcement promo and teaser visual for the second season.

I’m Standing on a Million Lives Season 2 will be aired in Summer 2021. The exact release date for the second season has not been revealed yet; however, it has been confirmed that it will air in July 2021.

In the PV, we get a glimpse of a lot of new and mysterious characters and possibly villains. Shanzama, Rice, Kantil, Kattu and Roll seems to be working as a group, while Yaana and Aoyuu appear to be sisters working as a duo.

The first season got off as yet another generic isekai adventure anime, with low critic reviews. But in the second half of the anime, the plot got relatively stronger and provided appreciable character development.

With the fifth player introduced, the next stage will be in space. Now that they’ve learned that it is not virtual reality, rather a parallel world, how will they perceive their quests?

Season 2 will be covering the Arc 3 and 4 of the manga series, which is where the series will really begin to shine since the main theme is developed further.

About I’m Standing on a Million Lives

Yusuke Yotsuya along with his classmates Shindou and Hakozaki get transported to a game-like alternate world. As soon as they arrive, they meet somebody calling himself the Game Master who then grants them a time-limited quest.

Now it’s on these three students to complete the quests for several phases in the fantasy world to protect the real world from the demons and monsters they encounter.
