I’m Standing on a Million Lives (100-Man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru) is a fantasy series written by Naoki Yamakasa and illustrated by Akinari Nao.
The story is about a group of high school students who are pulled into a fantasy game world.
According to a recent report I’m Standing on a Million Lives manga‘s sales counts have increased 11 times after the premiere of its anime adaptation.
With the recent adaptation of the manga series, there has been a significant increase in the sales of the manga. Kodansha Comics is publishing the manga in English.
Yamakasa and Nao launched the manga in Kodansha‘s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in June 2016 and the anime premiered on October 2nd on Tokyo MX. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan.
In the current episode, Yuusuke is seen fighting the monsters, but he insists to be left alone. The boy also states that he is not fond of the city and much less the people in it.
As he is sitting on a dead monster he wonders that his life is much more exciting than Tokyo.

About I’m Standing on a Million Lives
Yusuke Yotsuya along with his classmates Shindou and Hakozaki get transported to a game-like alternate world. As soon as they arrive, they meet somebody calling himself the Game Master who then grants them a time-limited quest.
Now it’s on these three students to complete the quests for several phases in the fantasy world to protect the real world from the demons and monsters they encounter.
