The iDOLM@STER franchise has come a long way as an idol multimedia project. It is one of the biggest franchises with games, anime, manga, and more. The franchise, in many ways, gives us a neat little snippet into a prominent Japanese idol subculture.
The series takes risks with its presentation and delivers the show with enthusiasm, energy, and character. A new addition to the franchise, Shiny Colors, was announced a year ago, and it is finally set to premiere this spring.
The ‘IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors’ anime announced that the series will premiere on April 5, 2024. A new trailer has been released for the series.
The new teaser trailer introduces our main character, Mano Sakuragi, whose life seems to completely change when she enters the world of idols.
She forms an unlikely alliance and a bond with two other aspiring idols, and they aim to get to the top of the industry.
Before the television premiere, the 12-episode anime screened in theaters as three films and was hugely successful.
Mankyū (Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Theater, The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague) directed the anime at Polygon Pictures.
The anime is brilliant, and do not be fooled by sparkly colors and childish tones. The series does a great job of keeping the audience entertained and has a great storyline. It would be best if you gave this anime a try before dismissing it.
