Prime Video’s conspiracy drama, inspired by true stories of real Nazi Hunters, is returning with season 2, and Logan Lerman’s Jonah brings the gang back together to hunt Hitler down once and for all. Prime Video just dropped the trailer for the second and last season, and we’ll break it down for you!
The series premiered on Prime Video in 2020 and was renewed for one last season simultaneously. The second season was probably decided to be the final one after the show faced criticism for its theme, but it deserved a worthy sendoff after it received praise for the plot and performance.

Unlike the first, the second season will only consist of episodes and will see the return of Al Pacino and Logan Lerman in their respective roles, followed by other cast members, including Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Luis Ozawa, Greg Austin, and more. The Hunters recruit a new member, played by Jennifer Jason Leigh, and the story picks off after Meyer’s death.
The trailer starts with Jonah dreaming of Pacino’s Meyer, and how Jonah fears the worst is not over yet.
He’s right to gather the old members and look for a new one since the upcoming season’s plot dictates the hunt for Hitler and the threat of the reveal of Meyer’s true identity. This will open a whole can of worms and spill deep secrets about the Nazi hunter and his teammates; thus, the group has to execute both missions side by side.
The trailer teases the new adventure that’ll take the Hunters across Europe in search of the notorious villain and even shows a glimpse of Hitler in hiding. We even see Jonah coming face-to-face with him in the trailer!
Even though Pacino’s character died in the last season, we still see flashbacks of his past self while the present storyline runs along it. It’ll be exciting to see how his reveal is threatened, what it will reveal of his team members, and how he brought them all together.
The season 2 premiere of Hunters is on January 13, 2023, exclusively on Prime Video.
