Hunter x Hunter stole the spotlight this year with its surprise comeback and by resuming the manga where it left off. After almost four years of anxiously waiting, fans are finally at peace knowing they’ll get to see the end of their favorite story.
Whenever such a sought-after manga returns from a hiatus, the first thing everyone asks is when it will resume, and the same goes for this one.
The Hunter x Hunter manga will return in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine’s 47th issue on October 24, 2022. It will resume from chapter 391, the title of which is yet to be revealed.
The serialization of “HUNTER x HUNTER” (written by Yoshihiro Togashi) has been decided to resume in “Weekly Shonen Jump” No. 47, 2022 (released on October 24)

Shueisha has also revealed the cover for the manga’s upcoming 37th compiled volume. It will go on sale from November 4, 2022, and will include chapters 381-390.
The volume cover features Morena Prudo, the illegitimate daughter of the Kakin Empire’s ruler Nasubi Hui Guo Rou. She is also the boss and leader of the Heil-Ly Family, one of the three most prominent mafia families in Kakin.
As you all know, Hunter x Hunter is known to have too much going on in a single chapter, making it difficult to recap everything. As if that wasn’t enough, this is the Succession Contest arc we’re talking about, and it has many storylines happening at the same time.
In one corner, you’ll find mafia fights; in another, Kakin’s princes scheming to get the throne, and somewhere else, you’ll see Hisoka being a creep again. As I said before, too much is going on all at once.
Viz Media has also announced that it will simul-publish the new chapters in Shonen Jump’s English edition on October 23. The company has also added the previous chapters to Shonen Jump’s digital vault.
I suggest you all start catching up and re-reading the chapters before the new ones come in.
