The franchise has met many successful remakes, and now they are back with a Movie.
1.Release Date
The feature film for Humanoid Monster Bem, titled “BEM~ Become Human” will be released in Japan on October 2, 2020
A trailer and a key visual for the movie have been released along with other details.
As a reboot to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic cult anime in the 1960s, Yokai Ningen Bem / Humanoid Monster Bem, BEM was aired for 12 episodes in Japan from July to October 2019.

The 2019 remake, BEM, makes innovative changes on its story settings and follows a completely authentic script, which set at the coastal city of Libra.
Since the remake was well-received by the fans, they are all set to return on the big screen.

The Live-action film released in 2012 made a total of 11.5 million USD in Japan.
II.Animation Quality
The remake which was released in 2019 was very different than the classic version in the aspect of animation, the animation was good. The use of aerial shot, dolly shot and freeze frame gives an extraordinary sensory experience that one can only find in movies.
3. Production Update
There has been not much information on the production, but since the COVID-19 pandemic has started to ease down slowly, the anime industry will soon return to work at the old pace.
The Offical Youtube channel of the franchise released a trailer, which didn’t give out much but conveys that the making is going in full swing.

7. About BEM: Become Human
Humanoid Monster Bem is a 26 episode Japanese anime television series, which first aired on Fuji T.V. between October 7, 1968, and March 31, 1969. The series was later remade in 2006 that premiered on Animax.
A live-action film was released on December 15, 2012. For the series’ 50th anniversary, a third anime television series adaptation titled BEM was confirmed to be in production and aired from July 14 to October 13, 2019.
