The official website for the Hula Fulla Dance anime film has recently shared a full trailer and a visual featuring the main characters. The site also announced the theme song “Sunflower,” sung by idol group The Dance of Philosophy.

The trailer starts with a young Natsunagi as she intently stares at a Hula dancer, transfixed at the dancer’s grace and beauty. Soon the trailer jumps into the present as the wanna-be Hula dancer struggles at her job at a Hawaiian Resort. Nonetheless, as she grows her talent through her bond with her team, she soon overcomes the challenges and rises above them.
The latter half of the trailer ends on a high note as the idol group breaks into a perfect dance routine, and the theme song kicks in.
Overall the trailer and visuals are great at showcasing the unique story that “Hula Fulla Dance” wants to tell, so be sure to catch this dancing sensation.
About Hula Fulla Dance
“Hula Hula Dance” is one of “Zutto Ouen. Project 2011 + 10 …”, which produces three anime works set in the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
It is about a Hiwa Natsunagi, a 19 year old rookie member of the Hawaiians Dancing Team at Spa Resort Hawaiians.
Set in Fukushima Prefecture, the character was created by BN Pictures in September 2020 to support the tourism of Iwaki-city.
