How to use Reserve Loadouts to switch Weapons & Gadgets? The Finals

The Finals has been quickly gaining traction in the world of multiplayer games after crossing 10 million players very recently. But as a player, choosing the right weapons is crucial for creating the best loadout.

There may be times when you want to change your entire loadout in the middle of a match to dominate the battlefield. Fortunately, The Final’s Reserve Weapons feature allows you to do just that.

1. How to use the Reserve Weapons in The Finals?

The Reserve Weapons feature allows players to swap their loadouts in the middle of a match. Follow these steps to use the feature:

1. Get eliminated
2. On the bottom left of the spectating screen, a button prompt saying change loadout will appear
3. All the reserve weapons will be there. Click on the current primary weapons and then on the reserve weapons to swap them
4. Once respawned, the weapon can be used

You can only change your loadout to your reserved one while waiting to respawn after being eliminated. It’s a simple feature that can really turn the tide of battle. But before you do so, you need to set up your Reserve Loadout.

2. How to set up a Reserve Loadout in The Finals?

Players can set up a Reserve Loadout by clicking on the Contestants tab on the lobby screen and then clicking the edit option on the right. There’ll be Weapons, Gadgets and Reserve slots here to edit.

Here, you can select whichever weapon and gadget you want to put in the Reserve slots. Make sure to equip some decent weapons, as the Reserve Loadout will come in handy when things get dire during a match.
