Please note that the following contains Alan Wake 2: The Lake House DLC spoilers.

Agent Estevez is transported to the Oceanview Motel and then the Oldest House, where she meets Dylan Faden, Jesse’s brother from Control. Their conversation reveals it’s been four years since Control’s events, and the FBC headquarters has been eerily quiet.

However, Dylan hints at an ominous development unfolding outside. A subsequent teaser montage suggests the Hiss may be breaking containment, with images of deserted city streets, the Hiss lingering in alleys, and a mysterious robed figure standing on an inverted building.

This scene sets the stage for Control 2, suggesting the Hiss may escape containment and invade New York City streets, expanding Remedy’s interconnected universe.

This multiplayer spinoff, previously known as Condor, follows Firebreak, the Bureau’s elite response unit, as they battle otherworldly forces in a besieged headquarters.
