Along with a plethora of fun-filled content, AC Valhalla update 1.4.0 marked the arrival of a new unlockable armor set known as the Fallen Hero. It is a Superior tier armor that belongs to the wolf gear and offers umpteen perks to establish itself as a panoply every warrior looks for to turn the tide in a battle.
The Fallen Hero armor set consists of five pieces: helm, cape, chest, boots, and bracers. Each piece is the reward for completing the four Tombs of the Fallen puzzles.
Scattered across England, these tombs are mini-dungeons that brim with traps, myths, and baits to test Eivor’s mettle. After solving them and advancing towards a tomb’s end, you will find a chest or two that can be looted to obtain parts of this robust gear!
The best part? You don’t have to prepare in advance to get the Fallen Hero armor. The moment you step foot in England and build your settlement, you are eligible to obtain it.
Furthermore, the puzzles are not complicated at all, and you won’t have to gear up to fight enemies in the dungeon either. It really is a walk in the park, if you ask me!
The only thing you have to do is spot the four Tombs of the Fallen dungeons and loot the gear pieces. So without any delay, let’s find out where each component of this powerful armor is concealed.
1. Fallen Heroes Cape Location
The Fallen Heroes Cape can be obtained from the Manius’ Sanctum that can be found south of Ravensthorpe near the Nene river.
All you have to do is interact with the four NPCs standing next to the river. After this, a cutscene will be triggered where Eivor will have to use Raven to scout the area and spot the tomb’s hidden entrance.
Once inside the tomb, you will have to carry out some classic Assassin’s Creed tasks like parkour, dealing with breakable walls, and pushing levers & objects to solve a relatively straightforward puzzle and get your reward.
But your job is far from over right now as you have to locate the remaining gear. How, you may ask?
A massive map at the end of the Manius’ Sanctum dungeon will help you pinpoint the locations of the remaining Tombs of the Fallen. It’s advised you take a screenshot of this to remember where each dungeon lies.
2. Fallen Heroes Greaves and Bracers Location
The last chamber of the Boudicca Tomb that lies in East Anglia to the west from Elmenhalm contains two chests that will provide you with Fallen Heroes Boots/Greaves and Bracers.
My suggestion would be to rely on Fast Travel to get to the Elmenham dock, move west, and make use of Raven to get to the dungeon’s entrance.
Once inside, you will have to face four puzzles along with challenges that will manifest themselves in the form of traps, poisonous gas, and other atrocities. Overcome them, and place moveable objects in their dedicated spots to claim your rewards.
3. Fallen Heroes Breastplate Location
To obtain the Fallen Heroes Breastplate in AC Valhalla, you will have to head to Cassivellaunus Tomb. This dungeon is located in Sciropescire to the east of Repton between the Afon Hafren River and Trent River.

Just like Boudicca Tomb, you will have to solve four puzzles in Cassivellaunus Tomb to obtain a key that will unlock the last chamber of the dungeon and help you loot a valued chest piece from a chest.
4. Fallen Heroes Helmet Location
Fallen Heroes Helmet can be looted from a chest that’s found in the Venutius Tomb inside a locked chamber. Venutius Tomb is situated in Eurvicscire just north of Anlaf’s Lookout.
I’d recommend that you reach Anlaf’s Lookout fast travel point and head halfway southwards towards Eurvicscire and then rely on your Raven to pinpoint the location of the hidden tomb.
The puzzles inside the Venutius Tomb are no different than the ones you have encountered till now. Just trust the same mechanics you utilized so far and clear every obstacle on your path to obtain the last piece of Fallen Heroes armor set.
5. Is the Fallen Heroes Armor Set worth it?
All those who aim to render foes useless on the battlefield should not look beyond the Fallen Heroes armor set in AC Valhalla. Despite belonging to the Superior tier, this brawny armor offers some stupendous perks and packs further scope for leveling up as well.
Equipping the Fallen Heroes armor set will provide the following bonuses:
- Increase Armor, Melee Damage, and Ranged Damage when equipped (2 Pieces Equipped)
- Bonus: +10.0 to Armor
- Bonus: +15.0 to Melee Damage
- Bonus: +15.0 to Ranged Damage
- Getting hit drops a purple that explodes after a delay, dealing damage in an area and knocking down enemies (5 Pieces Equipped).
- Cooldown: 10s
It must be kept in mind that the more pieces of this gear you equip, the better bonuses you’ll receive.
Moreover, you can alter the visual look of this armor to mold it precisely the way you like it. If you are out there to win, you might as well win in style!
On top of this, its procurement is simple, and not shelling out a penny to get it is a significant advantage too. So, all in all, Fallen Heroes is a good armor set to have in Valhalla!
