This week’s community challenge of AC Valhalla is no dime a dozen and easily the most worthwhile of the bunch. It tasks the Assassin’s Creed community with collectively killing a staggering total of five million enemies to claim a mighty mythical scythe, the Eclipse.
While it seems like reaching five million kills would be an arduous job, it literally turned out to be a walk in the park for all the Eivors of the game.
Given the massive player base that AC Valhalla has amassed for itself, the objective was met within a few hours, and over 31 million foes have been unsurprisingly annihilated at the time of writing.
The good news here is that since the fandom has already hit the numbers of this community challenge, basically anyone can get the Eclipse now.
All players have to do is venture out into the treacherous world of Valhalla and kill at least one enemy. Once done, head to Ubisoft Connect, claim the challenge, and the Eclipse will be added to inventory.
It’s also worth mentioning that for a scythe that’s way too uncomplicated to obtain, the Eclipse is certainly worth snatching.
Owing to its mythical nature, the Eclipse offers a stupendous perk where “failing to land a Critical Hit increases Critical Chance.” On top of this, this armament offers +10.0 Critical Chance on each non-critical hit.
Complement this weapon with critical runes, and what you’ll have on your hands is a weapon that cuts through enemies like a hot knife through butter.
The Crescent Sun Challenge will continue till January 27. Therefore, you have more than enough time at your disposal to shred at least one enemy and claim one of the best freebies of this Norse adventure.
