Enigmas are two-part puzzles that players will come across while exploring the landscape of 9th century Baghdad. The first part of it involves finding a clue – a drawing or a cryptic message – and the second part involves finding the treasure which is either a talisman or a dye.
Surrender is one of the Enigmas that players will find while exploring the Wilderness region. These Enigmas can be real head scratchers as the clues they provide might be a little confusing for players to understand, but our guide will help you do that with ease.
To complete the Surrender Enigma in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, players need to:

1. Where to find the Surrender Enigma clue?
The Enigma is located on the North sector of the Wilderness region, in a graveyard called the Tomb of Zubaydah, which is situated close to the border between Harbiyah and Abbasiyah.

The Surrender Enigma puzzle clue is a message that talks about a submerged area, hinting at a sunken town of sorts. Read the full clue below:

I drop my rebel blade and leave what’s left of my life north of the oasis in the village or my birth. My old home sinks beneath the waves, they lap even at its dome. From the message, we can decipher that the village North of the oasis that “D” is referring to is Ukbara, which is located at the North of the map.
3. How to solve the Surrender Enigma puzzle?
To solve the Surrender Enigma puzzle, players need to head to Ukbara. When you reach there, you’ll find the north end of the village flooded and partially submerged.
Since there’s no Viewpoint there, begin at the northern oasis and then proceed to the town. After reaching there, head towards the western side of the northernmost domed building and you’ll find the treasure you’re looking for, which is the Rebel’s Talisman.
