As you enter the Serpent Section in Toluca Prison, check the Death Row Map to locate the Witness Room. The task is to overcharge the generator.

1. How to solve the generator puzzle in SIlent Hill 2 Remake?

Flip the switches in this order to solve the generator puzzle in Toluca Prison–

Standard Difficulty	6th, 4th, 5th, 1st, 3rd, 2nd
Hard Difficulty	4th, 5th, 2nd, 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th

After completing the correct switch order, activate the lever to overcharge the generator, solving the puzzle.

2. Getting to the Generator Puzzle in Toluca Prison

As you progress through Toluca Prison’s Serpent Section (where you need to open the Serpent door to advance the Weights & Scales quest), you’ll come across a locked door in the Witness Room.

3. Overcharging the Generator

The puzzle differs depending on your difficulty setting, with one more switch being added for players on Hard Mode.

• On Standard Difficulty (6 switches):
  1. Flip the 6th switch.

  5. Flip the 3rd switch.
  6. Flip the 2nd switch.

  1. Flip the 4th switch.

4. What happens after overcharging the generator?

Once the switches are flipped in the correct order, the generator will be overcharged and reach the red zone.
