The Serpent’s Nest Puzzle Solution Guide – Assassin’s Creed Mirage

At the end of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, during the Al Bahamut Investigation, players need to follow Qahiba to assassinate her. Before they can reach her, Qahiba will conceal herself inside a hidden chamber, leading to a puzzle involving colored books to be placed on podiums and symbols to match with them.

To solve the Serpent’s Nest puzzle in AC Mirage, players need to match the colored books with their respective symbols on the podiums:

Color	Symbol
White Book	Dove
Black Book	Cobra
Yellow Book	Desert
Blue Book	Ocean

All you have to do is match the color of the book with symbol placed above the podiums. You’ll be able to find the clues with the help of a poem. We go into more detail about that below.

1. Finding the Books and the Poem

Once you enter the Qahiba’s Library, head to the back of the room and activate Eagle Vision to locate a pile of books highlighted on a stand. Pick up the pile of books and you’ll have four books in your inventory – a white, blue, yellow and a black book.

You’ll come across the poem containing the clues to the puzzle beside the flight of stairs to the left of the library.

This is what the poem says:

“Rage in the ocean, I’ll sweeten your storms

Scorch as the desert, I’ll bathe in your heat

Strike as the cobra, but plunge in my breast

Soar as the dove, but alight in my nest.”

All you have to do now is match the colored books with the symbols located on the ceiling of the library, above the podiums.

2. The White Book

You need to put the books on four podiums around the balcony in library. Look up at the ceiling and activate your Eagle Vision to notice the symbols above where each podium is.

Start from the podium which is farthest from the flight of stairs. Here, you need to put the white book to match with the Dove symbol.

3. The Black Book

Move to the next podium and place the black book to match with the Cobra symbol.

4. The Yellow Book

Continue with the same process and put the yellow book on the next podium to match with the Desert symbol.

5. The Blue Book

Finally, move to the last podium and place the blue book to match with the Ocean symbol. Doing so will cause a bookshelf on the lower level to move, revealing a hidden chamber, where Qahiba is hiding, which leads to the finale of the game.
