In The Poppy Field, a stalker, Mityay, will assign a task to retrieve his family heirloom. This side mission is especially fun because you will deal with a strange, puzzling presence. Check out this guide to know where Mityay’s inheritance lies.
The Poppy Field
The Poppy Field side mission will begin at Zalissya.
Look for Mityay inside Hamster’s store. Interact with him and he will assign the quest.
The objective of the mission is to look for Mityay’s family heirloom which is in a root cellar.
Once you accept Mityay’s quest, a marker will appear on the map. It is the location of the Poppy Field which is about 600 meters far from Zalissya.
As you walk through the vast meadow full of poppy flowers, you will start to feel drowsy. Eventually, you will even fall asleep. Make sure to carry enough energy drinks to last a while. Avoid getting hit by flower petals. Try to cross the open field as quickly as you can.
How to complete The Poppy Field?
Check the map and go to the location marked i.e. the Poppy Field. As you approach the field, someone named Pormor will ask you to meet him later.
Follow the marker to reach Pormor. You can find him inside a hut. Talk to Pormor and mention your purpose for visiting the Poppy Field. He will then reveal that he knows where the root cellar is located.
To know the root cellar’s location, either pay Pormor 2000 Coupons or do a quick job for him. If you choose to do the job instead, here’s what you will have to do– loot four dead bodies placed around the Poppy Field.
You can find their exact locations on the map.
After completing the task, return the looted items to Pormor. He will then give you the location of the root cellar. Pormor will also place an enticing offer on the table, the family heirloom in exchange for a weapon.
Now that you know where the root cellar is, head over to that spot and retrieve Mityay’s family heirloom, an Unorthodox icon.
The Poppy Field Rewards
Once you acquire Mityay’s family heirloom, you will be presented with two options– return it safely to Mityay or hand it over to Pormor. The rewards for both these choices vary.
1Return the family heirloom to Mityay
If you choose to return Mityay’s family heirloom back, he will give you 1350 Coupons.
2Sell the family heirloom to Pormor
You can also choose to give the family heirloom to Pormor. In return, you will receive a unique weapon, the AR416, specially handcrafted by its maker.
