Prestige Guide: How to Reset Your Character in The First Descendant?

Most of the games that you play might have a level capacity or a maximum level that one can reach. Some of the games introduced the idea of prestige where you can reset the character’s level. 

In the First Descendant, there is no such term as “prestige” or “prestige system.” However, it refers to resetting your descendent and weapons’ level back to one once they have reached the maximum rank. Of course, it is not that easy to do and requires some steps to be followed.

1. How to Prestige Your Character in The First Descendant?

You can prestige your characters once they reach the maximum level of 40. You must also research a Crystallization Catalyst beforehand, as it takes 7 hours and 30 minutes to complete. Once you have the required materials, you can prestige your descendant from the Descendant Module screen.

2. Steps to Prestige Your Character Easily

Follow the steps below to easily prestige your descendant:

• Open your Descendant Module screen 

• Click on Modify Additional Settings at the top right. 

• Choose Assign Module Socket Type (Mastery Rank 7 required). This screen shows your Module Slots and which ones have Socket Types. When you place a Module on a Module Slot that matches the Socket Type, it will be half-price and appear green. 

• Choose the Module Socket Type you want to place

• Click on Apply Socket Type at the bottom right. This action will consume all 40 levels and a Crystallization Catalyst. 

Now, your Descendant will be back to level 1, and the prestige process will be complete.

Note: Select the module socket type that matches your preferred build. 

3. How to Make Crystallization Catalyst in The First Descendant?

Crystallization Catalyst is the key to prestige any character in the First Descendant. Each of these takes up to 7 hours and 30 minutes to research. You can make a Crystallization Catalyst using the Research Materials listed below:

• Gold x 187,500 
• Murky Residue x 8 
• Macromolecule Biogel x 22 
• Mixed Energy Residue x 8 
• Advanced Neural Circuit x 18 
• Crystallization Catalyst Blueprint
