Tiny Racers is a retro-styled elimination race where up to four players get to take on one another in colorful cars across seven different tracks. Being a part of GTA Online’s Adversary Mode, it switches back to the classic bird-eye perspective, which brings an additional punch to the tumultuous world of GTA V.
Unfortunately, playing Tiny Racers gets tricky as it is challenging to access the Adversary Mode through the game’s menu. If you are unable to find this racing mode, let me help you out.
To start Tiny Racers, pause GTA V and head to the Online tab. Now, choose the Play Job tab and select Rockstar Created. Here, you will find the Adversary Mode. Click on it, and a broad list of different game modes will be showcased. Scroll down to ‘T,’ and you’ll come across Tiny Racers.
After getting to and selecting Tiny Racers, you will be able to choose one of the seven adventurous racing tracks that this mode packs. Here’s all you need to know about them.

Along the way, you will also come across certain Power-Ups that can be used to help you close the gap between opponents and avoid a tragic demise. These are the seven Power-Ups that you can use to the fullest in Tiny Racers.
Power-Ups in Tiny Racers
- Bomb: When deployed, it destroys nearby vehicles upon detonation
- Rocket: Fired from the front or back of a vehicle in a linear motion to blow up an opponent’s car
- Bullets: Vehicle will be capable of firing guns from the front for five seconds to inflict damage on others.
- Reversal: Switches the acceleration and brakes of opponents.
- Nagasaki Shotaro: Players’ vehicles will convert into Nagasaki Shotaro for five seconds to destroy enemies with an energy trail.
- BF Ramp Buggy: Players’ vehicles will convert into BF Ramp Buggy for 10 seconds to let them strike enemies from behind and knock them out of the track.
- Ruiner 2000: Players’ vehicles will convert into Ruiner 2000 for 10 seconds and let them harness its functions such as the rockets and parachutes.
Note: These are not the official names of the Power-Ups but a bunch of user-made labels that best describe the role they play in the game.
Despite being introduced back in April of 2017, Tiny Racers is still well supported by the devs as it offers sizeable bonuses to enthusiasts every now and then. From December 31, 2021, to January 5, 2022, the mode was also offering double rewards to gamers for playing it with others.
What I really love about it is how different it is in contrast to the racing games we play.
Usually, in a racing game, every competitor vies for glory by being the first to reach the finish line, but that is not the case with Tiny Racers. Here, you get to hold the winning trophy only when you are the last one standing. You will have to put on your mean face and knock everyone off the tracks to ensure this.
You also cannot afford to fall too far behind other players as that will make your car go boom. If you think about it, Tiny Racers really brings the survival of the fittest into action as those who are not up for the job are met by a tragic demise.
If you are a GTA enthusiast who can’t get enough of its open-world madness, be sure to revisit Tiny Racers to dive into such tracks that induces nostalgia like no other.
