5. Will there be a new Metro game?
The next Metro game is already in production. In a blog post made by 4A Games, developer of the Metro series, the studio announced its plans for the next Metro sequel – a PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S release with a “complete overhaul of our engine” and the potential for multiplayer.
The studio provided a next-gen upgrade to Metro: Exodus as well, upgrading the game for next-gen consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Currently, it is not known when the next Metro game will arrive, but players can expect it in the next couple of years at the very least.

The third and final instalment in the Metro trilogy, Metro Exodus puts us back in the snow covered boots of Artyom in the post-apocalyptic wastelands of the Russian Federation and Republic of Kazakhstan.
A first-person shooter with elements of stealth and survival horror, players will wield an arsenal of weapons against mutated creatures and hostile humans. Metro Exodus is a graphically beautiful and beautifully graphic ending to the series.
