How to place Sigils on river objects and brambles? – God of War: Ragnarok

God of War: Ragnarok is filled with various kinds of puzzles but there are some puzzles that can be a bit tricky. One of these puzzles is the red vines that Freya can burn down using her Sigils. The problem is, there are big rows of these red vines that can’t be burned down easily but this guide will make it easier for you to burn them down and progress through the game.

A tutorial prompt called Chaining Elements will teach you how to get rid of those big rows of red vines using Freya’s Sigils. The tutorial will tell you that you can use multiple Sigils that are placed near each other in order to make them more powerful.

But the tricky part is, Kratos cannot reach the Sigils placed on the red vines using the Blades of Chaos so you might be wondering what’s the solution to that. Here’s how you can reach the vines:

  1. Place some Sigils on the top of the red vines.
  2. Connect them to the circular gate.
  3. You’ll notice that the Sigils will start to grow more brightly, indicating that they’ve become more powerful.
  4. Now, throw your Blades at the Sigil on the gate using R2 and it will start a chain reaction which will end up burning the red vines.

That’s all you need to do in order to burn the red vines that are blocking your path. Freya’s Sigils can also be used to unlock Nornir Chests and they’re also helpful in making the Blades of Chaos burn things in hard-to-reach areas.
