Once Human has been progressing towards upgrading the experience of the players since the very beginning. As a part of this effort, they have been making expansions adding mini-games and events.
Events like the hot-topic of these days, the Cargo Scramble event. The Cargo Scramble is a new PvP-type event that was added in Once Human as a part of a new patch that was recently released. In this event, players can actually gather and obtain rewards together. There is no downside. It’s all fun and games!
1. How to join the Cargo Scramble Event in Once Human?
To join a Cargo Scramble event in Once Human, open the map and look for the truck icon named “Cargo Scramble”. Head to the location outlined on the map to participate in the event.
It is seemingly not difficult at all to participate in the Cargo Scramble event. Just checking your map and heading toward wherever the red mark appears on the bottom-left of the map means there is an ongoing Cargo Scramble there.
The difficult part maybe that there is no set timing for this event to occur. So, players do need to check and re-check their maps time and again to better their chances of participating in multiple scrambles. So, keep an eye out for the truck of goodies!
Be mindful of the fact that this is a special PvP event. It is not similar to a party event, so you cannot fast-travel to the scramble location. You have to stretch your legs a bit and head out there on your own.
2. What to do in a Cargo Scramble event?
In a Cargo Scramble event, players need to follow a truck and then damage it until it comes to a halt. A jelly will spawn and take over a random player as host. Holding that jelly will reward the Sproutlets. The jelly can be stolen from the host.
Cargo Scramble can be broadly set into two parts- the first is when you chase the truck down and damage it to make it halt. You should have a vehicle ready if you are going to chase after the moving truck.
When you reach its close proximity, there will be a marker showing you how far the truck is. When you get to the truck, get down and spam your guns to take the truck down. The HP depends on the spawn level.
The second part is when you take the truck down, the jelly will select a host, barriers are erected, and it becomes a PvP arena. Tha aim is to hold onto the blob for as long as possible.
The blob can be stolen by other competing players. There is also a timer for the next infection, after which the jelly automatically switches hosts. When the Sproutlet storage hits 0%, the event reaches its end.
3. How to use the Sproutlets?
Sproutlets obtained from the Cargo Scramble event can be used to purchase some rare items from Nisa at any safe camp.
Nisa can be found at any safe camp. She is the one with a glowing pink mushroom blob on her head. The prices for the items in her shop range from two Sproutlets(Acid) to 10,000(Street Style). The image attached above is that of her store-space.
