How to obtain the Lost Treasury – Nornir Chest in God of War: Ragnarok?

This Nornir Chest is a lengthy quest with many puzzles and involves lighting up three rune torches. The Tyr’s Shield, located in the area, spices up the content of the quest.

With caution and careful timing, players can complete the puzzles to easily obtain the rewards from the Nornir Chest in the Lost Treasury region.

1. Where is Lost Treaury: Nornir Chest in God of War: Ragnarok?

To obtain the Lost Treasury – Nornir Chest-

  1. Head east of the Kol Raider Camp near the Tyr’s Temple.
  2. Roll your shield to reveal a hole at the bottom for gate access.
  3. Use Blades of Chaos, pull the shield left to expose the C-Rune torch, and ignite it with Hex Bubbles.
  4. Pull the shield, destroy the black pot, and loot the Red Coffin.
  5. Use Hex Bubbles to ignite the R-Rune.
  6. Adjust the shield, freeze gears with Hex Bubbles and Axe to open the gate, then sprint inside.
  7. Break the obstacle and light the N-Rune torch with Hex Bubbles to open the Nornir Chest.

2. Lighting the C-Torch

When you get to the quest location (Kol Raider Camp near Tyr’s Temple), you can see a huge shield against the frosty walls.

It would be best to push it to the side (there is an indication). You will be able to see and access the gate of a building. Using the Blades of Chaos, attach it to the grappling point on the shield’s right side and pull it to the left.

This will reveal the C-Rune’s torch: Create a chain of Hex Bubbles with Sigil Arrows and trigger a reaction with a Blazing Surge (L2+R2).

After that, climb up to the right side of the ruins, head through the open doorway, defeat Wisps with Hexes, and drop down the side of the structure.

Loot the Red Coffin for 1 Petrified Bone and a few hundred Hacksilver. Grab the shield’s left side from here and tug it to the left. This pushes it out, allowing you to position the stone column.

3. Lighting the R-Torch

Climb up the left side of the shield to return to the building’s left side. Watch for R Rune’s flame above and to the right. Set up another Hex Bubble chain that can be lit using the Blades of Chaos’ Blazing Surge.

Go inside the doorway and find the stone column you knocked down before. Pull it to the left, and it will protrude over the roof’s edge.

This prevents the shield from rolling too far away. Now, you can loot the Hacksilver Chest, then descend the roof’s edge to firm ground.

4. Lighting the N-Torch

Pull and drag the shield to the right until it is in position, then man the wheel crank and turn it to open the gate.

The second objective is to freeze both gears on the shield’s left and right sides to keep the gate open. You can accomplish this with a Hex Bubble.

Fire a Sigil Arrow at one of the gears, then swiftly throw the Axe into it, recall it, and hurl it into the other gear, where it will remain. You will only have a few seconds to rush in.

Once inside, the N Rune’s flame is in the right-hand corner, above the ruins. It’s too far for the blades to reach. To solve this, locate the target on the right side of the gate and break it.

This allows you to create one chain of Hex Bubbles that you can use to light the torch! Once that’s done, exit and look to your left for the Nornir Chest, which you can now open!
