The First Descendant is a third-person looter shooter game that has been quite popular since its release. There is a great variety of weapons in the First Descendant, and the combat options differ depending on the characters and mods you utilize.
The Tamer is a very popular weapon in The First Descendant, and there is a good reason. It is a low-budget, high-damage weapon that you need to get your hands on pronto.
1. How to get the Tamer in The First Descendant?
To obtain the Tamer machine gun in the First Descendant-
- The Abandoned Site Reconstruction mission of the Agna Desert has to be completed.
- The alternative is the Order’s Occupied Facility mission in the White-Night Gulch.
- There is a 50-50 chance of the weapon dropping upon completing either mission.
To obtain the machine gun, Tamer, the Descendants should complete the Abandoned Reconstruction Site mission. The location of the mission is in the Remnant section of the Agna Desert.
The Order’s Occupied Facility mission in the Observatory in White-night Gulch is another place the Tamer can be obtained as a drop. But beware, there is a 50-50 chance, and you might have to farm a few times on an unlucky day. Pick whichever mission feels less cumbersome.

5. Tips for Building Weapons in First Descendant
There are two key points to focus on when building your weapons in the First Descendant-
- The Modules that you use with the weapon
- The bonuses that can be affixed to the weapon (keep in mind, there is the possibility of readjustment at Level 100)
The modules you use should be carefully chosen. For example, with the Tamer, many might think fire rate amplification is the key focus.
While this is not wrong, to get the most out of the already high fire rate, it is best to increase the modifiers with ATK%. This lets you mow down mobs and even Bosses. Famously, the Hanged Man requires the Tamer to be taken down.
It is best to push your weapon to Level 100 as soon as possible; it is just worth a lot more to adjust and affix bonuses at that point. Focus on using the Weapon Level Transmission to increase the levels quickly. At Level 100, change the rolled bonuses accordingly.
That is all you need to know about the Tamer! So get going to the Agna Desert and grab a few copies!
