The Flux Compressor is an Expert Key Part required to unlock the Ion Smoke Bomb ability under the Scavenger head in Star Wars Outlaws. It is challenging to get this item as it not only involves exploring a remote location in the game but also solving an annoying puzzle at the end of your journey.

1. How to get the Flux Compressor in Star Wars Outlaws?

The Flux Compressor is inside a room at Rover’s Lair, which is located on the northern end of The Great Basin on Akiva planet in Star Wars Outlaws. Check the map below for the exact location of the Flux Compressor.

You will only be able to reach the Rover’s Lair if you have the Ion and Power modes for your blaster, so ensure you’ve got all the required upgrades, and reach the aforementioned location.

2. Finding Rover’s Lair in Star Wars Outlaws

After reaching the location, look in the southeast direction and find a broken stone structure that can be used as a ramp.

Get on the Speeder and use the ramp to reach a new area. It is a speeder-restricted area, so start walking my friends.

Walk a bit ahead and blow up the odd-looing rocks on the left side using the power mode of the blaster.

Climb up the newly opened path and head straight until you find a climbable wall.

Once you have climbed all the walls, use the grappling hook on the lowered tree branch and make your way to the next area.

Now, blow up the wall with the orange markings using the Power mode of your blaster.

Move through the newly opened path. Find the climbable wall and head upwards until you reach a higher ridge.

Now, look up and use the grappling hook on the tree branch above to reach Rover’s Lair. Here, break the orange-marked wall and stones, to reveal the Rover’s Lair door puzzle.

3. How to solve the Rover’s Lair Door puzzle in Star Wars Outlaws?

To solve Rover’s Lair Door puzzle, shoot the four power conduits with your blaster in the following order:

• Top Left
• Far Bottom Right
• Bottom Left
• Top Right

Take a look at the picture below for a better understanding of the order.

This puzzle involves four power conduits that light up for different durations. The door in the center will not open until you light up all the conduits in the right order.

Once the door is open, head inside and get the Flux Compressor from the container at the end of the room, along with all the other precious loot.
