How to Get the Emerald of Genesis? Best Sword in Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves offers various weapons, including swords, pistols, broadblades, gauntlets, and rectifiers. Each category has options rated from 5-star to 3-star. However, there seem to be insufficient choices in the sword category. 

Currently, only two 5-star swords are available, one being the Emerald of Genesis, which outperforms many other top-tier weapons in Wuthering Waves.

1. How to get the Emerald of Genesis in Wuthering Waves?

Players can get the sword Emerald of Genesis from the Permanent Weapon Convene Banner at a normal rate and from the 5-Star Weapon Supply Chest after reaching Union Level 45. 

The Emerald of Genesis is a 5-star sword. Much like any 5-star, it can be obtained at a guaranteed pity system of 80. However, that’s not always the case. One can mostly get it around 70-75 convenes, and if you are one of those fellas whose luck shines brighter than the sunlight, you might even get it very early.

2. Get Guaranteed Emerald of Genesis from the Standard Weapon Convene

Many gacha games have a very randomized gacha system for their Standard or Permanent Banners. Players lose their sanity while pulling for a particular weapon because there is almost very little to no chance of getting it. However, Wuthering Waves completely solves the problem of too much RNG. 

The Standard Weapon Convene has a Targeted Convene system, which players can use to guarantee the weapon of their choice. All they need to do is select the Emerald of Genesis or their weapon of choice from the target convene and keep rolling until they see a gold resonator icon on their screen. 

Tip: Remember to change the target convene to another weapon once you have obtained the weapon you want. 

3. Alternative Method to Get the Emerald of Genesis

Another way to guarantee Emerald of Genesis is to reach Union Level 45. Upon reaching this level, players can get a 5-star Weapon Supply Chest, which allows them to choose a free 5-star weapon.

To get that, 

• Head to the events section. 
• Scroll down and there will be an event called ‘Awakening Journey’ with Yangyang’s picture. On the bottom right, select the last reward beside the number 45.

Players can access the chest from their Backpack. Upon opening, the golden chest will reveal a selector for five 5-star weapons. Select the Emerald of Genesis to obtain it immediately.

4. How good is the Emerald of Genesis in Wuthering Waves?

The Emerald of Genesis is the most versatile weapon in Wuthering Waves that any sword character can use. This weapon not only provides a high Crit Rate but also offers a significant amount of Energy Regen and ATK%. 

These stats are beneficial for all the sword characters in the game, including Sanhua, Danjin, Rover, Yangyang, and Changli, making it one of the best weapons in Wuthering Waves.

Note: Blazing Brilliance is the new sword which is also good. However, it is made specifically for Changli and doesn’t suit all the characters.
