Assassin’s Creed Mirage features a lot of gear for players to upgrade Basim with, but some of it is kept away inside locked chests and restricted areas, which may be a problem. The Bazaar Gear chest is easy to locate, but it can get a bit tricky to get to it.
The Bazaar Gear Chest is located in the market building in Karkh, northeast of the Monastery of Virgins Viewpoint. Its exact location is very easy to spot using the Eagle Vision. It’ll be on the second floor of the building.
To get to the Chest, first, head to the Bazaar area to the South of the Cookmen’s Quarter and enter it from the northeast side, where you’ll notice a big fountain. After entering, turn right, and you’ll find some wooden platforms on the left wall.
Climb those platforms, and you’ll find a rope connecting to the other side. Cross this rope, and you’ll find the door behind which is the gear chest you want to get to. But the door is barred, and you’ll need to find a way to unbar it.
1. How to unbar the door?
To unbar the door, go back to the platform from where you entered the balcony, and you’ll notice a rope from a green platform connecting to another balcony. Walk there, and then turn right.
You’ll notice a large window with a grate pattern on it. You’re looking at the room with the chest, so what you need to do now is use a Throwing Knife through a gap in the grate pattern to unlock the door.
Use Eagle Vision to spot the lock more easily. After unlocking the door, go back to it, open it, and head left to find the gear chest. Open it, and you’ll receive the Abbasid Knight Dagger as a reward.
2. About Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth primary installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While its historical timeframe precedes that of Valhalla, its modern-day framing story succeeds Valhalla’s own.
Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age—in particular during the Anarchy at Samarra—the story follows Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla), a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight for peace and liberty against the Order of the Ancients,[b] who desire peace through control. The main narrative focuses on Basim’s internal struggle between his duties as a Hidden One and his desire to uncover his mysterious past.
