How to get the Steinbjorn Armor in God of War Ragnarok: Easy Guide

Finding the greatest armor in God of War Ragnarok is difficult, and this guide will help you discover it.

Although your playstyle will undoubtedly influence which armor is “better,” the Steinbjorn Armor is unquestionably the most challenging to locate. Additionally, it provides more security than any other option you may find.

This is how you obtain it:

1. Mystical Heirloom

You can unlock a relic known as the Mystical Heirloom later on in the game. It “awakens something latent, deep within the bearer,” according to its description. Although it seems significant, it isn’t used in actual warfare.

The troll statues you occasionally see are sleeping trolls trapped under a magical spell. You will know this if you pay attention to the scattered stories. The Mystical Heirloom can be used to awaken them.

2. Slumber Stone

Slumber Stone is a resource that will be dropped by defeated trolls. With this, you can create the Steinbjorn Armor by taking it to a blacksmith.

Sleeping Troll Locations

The following locations have sleeping trolls:

  • The Forbidden Sands’ southwest corner.
  • The Noatun Garden.
  • The Derelict Outpost in the Lake of the Nine.

You can build the Steinbjorn Gauntlets, Steinbjorn Waistguard, and Steinbjorn Plackart after defeating the trolls in all three locations.

3. Steinbjorn Armor Stats

The Steinbjorn Plackart provides 190 Defense when maxed up and starts mending attacks when you’re about to die.

The Steinbjorn Gauntlets provide a moderate chance to stun foes when you take damage, 34 Strength, and 85 Defense.

The stun buff on the gauntlets stacks with the 119 Defense provided by the Steinbjorn Waistguard.
