Starchrom Farming Guide – How to obtain the rare currency in Once Human?

Starchrom is a special currency in Once Human, which can be used in the Wish Machine to win special rewards. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee of getting a reward with the wishing machine and you may end up losing all your Starchrom.

Luckily, the game provides various methods to farm some easy Starchrom. You just need to look at the right place.

1. How to get Starchrom in Once Human?

Starchrom can be obtained in the following ways in Once Human:

1. Complete the Seasonal Goals.
2. Buy them from the Merchant Severin VII-S2041 (NPC).
3. Refine the Eclipse Cortex into Starchrom using Stardust Resonator Filter.
4. Participate in Prime Wars.
5. Complete the Journey quests.
6. Connect socials, complete surveys, and invite friends to the game.
7. Follow the Game’s official account on Social Media platforms.

2. Starchrom Farming Through Seasonal Goals

Each seasonal goal provides rewards in three tiers, and each of them contains some amount of Starchrom in increasing quantity.

There is a high possibility that you aren’t aware of what the current seasonal goals are, and therefore, cannot complete them.

Well, worry not, here is how you can find the status of the ongoing challenges.

1. Press ESC (Escape) on your keyboard while playing Once Human.
2. Select MANIBUS tile on the right side of the screen.
3. Go to Season Goals, the second tab on the top of the screen.
4. Lastly, select any of the “Phase Rewards” tiles in this window.

Here, you will get to see the phase of rewards that you have already received and what to expect in the next phase. Moreover, click on any tile and you will see a set of challenges on the right that you need to complete.

Each completed challenge will reward you with some points, which will fill up a circular progress bar on the left. Once a bar fills up, you will reach the next phase of awards for that set of missions. The phases are indicated by stars (one, two, and three stars).

3. Buy Starchrom from the Merchant Severin VII-S2041

Severin VII-S2041 is an NPC merchant who can be found in major cities in Once Human.  You can buy a maximum of 8 crates of Starchrom per season from him for 100 Stellar Planula each.

A single crate will give you 500 Starchrom, so that’s easy 4,000 Starchrom for you if you need them urgently.

4. Refine the Eclipse Cortex into Starchrom using Stardust Resonator Filter

Starcrom can be easily farmed using a Stardust Resonator in your territory. A Resonator can be built by using: 20x Glass, 30x Metal Scraps, 20x Rubber, 10x Copper Ingot, and 10 Acid.

Once you have the Stardust Resonator, put an Eclipse Cortex in it and start purifying to get the desired amount of Starchrom. However, there is a catch. Enemy waves will attack you during the process of this purification and you will have to defend the resonator from them.

The difficulty level of the enemy wave depends on the quality of the Eclipse Cortex; the higher its level, the stronger the enemies.

5. Participate in Prime Wars

Prime Wars are public events that can be found at various places across the map. The objective of these events is to defend a Staroid Restrainer from a world boss and defeat them, simultaneously. However, first, you will have to start the Staroid Restrainer using Staroid.

The easier Primes Wars will award you with 800 Starchroms, while the difficult ones with 1000.

6. Complete the Journey Quests

Journey quests can be used to earn small amounts of Starchrom with minimal effort. To access the Journey tab and missions, press ‘J’ within the game.

In the Journey tab, you will come across various missions, each with numerous phases. Complete them and you will be rewarded with Starchrom as mentioned near the bottom right of the screen after selecting a mission.

7. Connect Socials and Complete Surveys

This is one of the easiest methods to earn Starchrom. Simply select the bottom-most tile on the right side of the main menu screen. Here, you can complete the game survey and bind your Discord with the game to earn 300x and 500x Starchrom, respectively.

8. Invite Friends to the Game

You can also invite your friends to the game to earn some Starchrom. Simply, go to the “Events” tab from the “Shop” option in the Main Menu, and select the “Gather Friends” tile to invite one of your friends to the game.

This will reward you with some “Friendship Points,” which you can redeem in the Friendship Shop to get 1,000x Starchrom.

9. Following the Game’s Official Account on Social Media platforms

You can follow the game’s official social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to claim 180x Starchrom each. To do so, go to the “Events” tab from the “Shop” option in the Main Menu. Here, select the “Regular Event” and go to “Community Rewards.”

Now, you can just follow the official handles and get Starchrom rich.

Apart from the given methods, you can also earn Starchrom via the Battle pass or redeem them as compensation (if available) by the game developers through the mailbox in the game.
