While Squid Tentacles do sound like an exquisite food item that’s meant to be consumed, they’re exclusively used for crafting weapons, and there are multiple ways in which you can obtain them.

There are multiple ways to get Squid Tentacles in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth:
- They can be purchased from a woman named Yoko near the center of Aloha Beach.
- They can also be purchased at the entrance of the Yokohama Underground dungeon.
- Players can get Squid Tentacles by fishing too.
There are, of course, some alternative methods to get Squid Tentacles too, but the ones mentioned above are the easiest ones.
2. Purchasing Squid Tentacles from Yoko’s Recycling Center
You can purchase Squid Tentacles from Yoko, a woman found near the center of Aloha Beach. Ichiban can trade in garbage collected from ocean dives or beachcombing to earn points, which can then be used to purchase items from her.
She manages a recycling center, which is hilariously nothing but her standing on the beach, and she offers you two Squid Tentacles for 1,000 points. But after you purchase them from her, she won’t sell any more Squid Tentacles.
3. Purchase Squid Tentacles from Utamaru at the Yokohama Underground Exchange
Squid Tentacles can be purchased from Utamaru for 18,000 Geomijul’s Survey Data at the entrance of the Yokohama Underground dungeon. Utamaru has an unlimited supply of Squid Tentacles, so players don’t need to worry about stock.
The Yokohama Underground Exchange or dungeon, is accessible only after reaching Chapter 10 of the game. Kiryu and his companions can clear floors of the dungeon by defeating enemies and obtaining Geomijul’s Survey Data, which is needed for the Tentacles too.
4. Fishing Squid Tentacles in Like A Dragon : Infinite Wealth
Fishing is another way of getting Squid Tentacles, as there’s always a slim chance of reeling in the ingredient. Kiryu and Ichiban can fish by talking to fishermen in specific areas of Hawaii and Japan.
The spot doesn’t really matter, as the chances of reeling in Squid Tentacles are very low. But Yokohama’s Hamakita Park and Honolulu’s Anaconda Harbor Park are great spots, as they offer fishing for $1 or 100 yen per cast.
Alternate methods of getting Squid Tentacles include winning a late-game battle in the game’s final chapter and purchasing the paid “Gearworks Crafting Set (Large)” Bundle. But the ways mentioned above are the best to get Squid Tentacles pretty early on in the game.
