How to get slimline pro optic in Call of Duty: MW2? Easy Guide

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has tons of attachments for guns for players to choose from. Players can select upto five modifications to improve the performance of their guns. One of these attachments is the Slimline Pro Optic which appeared in the campaign of the game on an M4 rifle. Many players have been wondering how to unlock since maxing out the weapon also didn’t unlock it.

At the time of writing, the Slimline Pro Optic is not unlockable in Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward hasn’t given an official reason as to why it cannot be unlocked. Most of the attachments get unlocked by leveling up weapons but it’s not the same case for this attachment.

You can use the Slimline Pro Optic by playing Private Multiplayer matches in Modern Warfare 2. In private matches, all the attachments are accessible from the get-go including the Slimline Pro Optic, so if you plan on playing private matches with friends, you can use it there.

Here’s how you can use the Slimline Pro Optic in a private match:

Launch Modern Warfare 2
Select Multiplayer and then select Private Match
Create or join a Private Match
Select any game mode
Go to Weapons and then to Loadouts tab and equip M4 Assault Rifle
Select Slimline Pro Optic below the Optics attachment

There are no official details on when the attachment will become playable in the game in other game modes. The game’s Season 1 is launching on November 16th, so the attachment could become available in the game at that time.
