The first DLC fighter for Street Fighter 6 is arriving in July and it’s none other than the Middle Eastern master of the cyclone, Rashid. The roster gets even bigger with his addition, who was last seen in Street Fighter 5.
Rashid will be available to players who own the Year 1 Character Pass as well as those who own the Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions of Street Fighter 6 on July 24. He is a part of the $29.99 Character Pass, which will deliver three additional fighters – A.K.I, Ed, and Akuma.
Additionally, Capcom is allowing players to try out Rashid for an hour with the use of a Rental Fighter Ticket, which is available in the Fighting Pass.

Capcom has released a gameplay trailer on Wednesday for Rashid in Street Fighter 6, showcasing his move set, which is a mix of parkour and speed, similar to how he played in Street Fighter 5.
“He has many techniques to attack while moving forward and has a unique Run action that is used from a forward step, giving him plenty of ways to approach his opponents,” stated Game Director Takayuki Nakayama on the PlayStation Blog.
Rashid’s whirlwind attack style from Street Fighter 5 has been improved with the addition of Arabian Cyclone, which is a spinning kick that summons a small cyclone and can transition into a Rolling Assault or Wing Stroke.

Rashid’s Level 1 Super is his Super Rashid Kick which delivers a devastating kick while soaring high through the air.
His Level 2 Super changes the properties of special moves such as adding disruptive air currents to Whirlwind Shot when held down to charge it up. This allows players to have freedom in expanding their combos while letting their individuality shine through the character.
Rashid’s Level 3 Super makes his opponent hover mid-air by summoning a tempest and rains down “a monsoon of powerful blows” as stated by Capcom. All of his movies have been showcased in the gameplay video released by Capcom.
