Rain of Fire is a brand new incantation added to Elden Ring in the Shadow of Erdtree DLC, and it is unfathomably powerful. This spell summons a massive cloud of flame that rains fire for a short period of time, which is extremely difficult for any enemy to avoid.
Unfortunately, for most of the players, it could be slightly difficult to get their hands on this spell as it is found deep in the Shadow Keep, located on the map’s northern region.
1. How to get the Rain of Fire in Elden Ring DLC?
Rain of Fire incantation can be acquired as a drop by defeating a wizard Fire Knight near the West Rampart site of grace, deep in the Shadow Keep, located in the northernmost region of the Shadow Realm.
Assuming you have already made your way to the Shadow Keep. Start from the Storehouse, First Floor site of grace, and make way to the hooded Fire Knight.
2. Finding the Rain of Fire Incantation in Shadow Keep
Fast travel to the Storehouse, First Floor site of grace. As soon as you spawn at the location, head west and down the wooden elevator.
Exit the elevator, turn right through the arched gateway, and then immediately turn left through another gateway.
Now, jump off the wooden platform and keep walking to the west until you reach an open area and find the West Rampart site of grace.
Summon Torrent and head further west on the stone bridge, and at the end of this path you will find a hooded Fire Knight casting fire magic.
Defeat him and you will get the Rain of Fire incantation along with the Salza’s Hood.
3. Is Rain of Fire incantation any good in Elden Ring?
Rain of Fire is one of the best offensive incantations in Elden Ring because it causes immense AoE fire damage by raining bursts of fire from the sky for a decent time. If used skillfully, it can be used to win any PvE or PvP battle.
However, this spell is not meant for every build as it requires 52 Faith stat and 27 FP to cast. It is surely not as impressive as Unendurable Frenzy but it can easily help you own any foe you encounter.
