Finding Furnace Visage in Elden Ring – How do you acquire and use the item?

The Shadow of Erdtree DLC brings a lot of new weapons and items to Elden Ring. The Furnace Visage is one such item that allows players to craft throwables and use them against mighty opponents. However, finding this item while dodging non-stop attacks from crooked creatures of the shadow region can be extremely challenging.

1. How to get Furnace Visage in Elden Ring?

Furnace Visage drops as loot from Furnace Golems in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. Furnace Golems are giant creatures with a large Firey torch above their torso. Players will encounter one soon in Graveyard Plains after entering the realm of Shadows.

Sometimes, Furnace Visage can also be found dropped around already dead Furnace Golems.

2. How to use the Furnace Visage in Elden Ring?

Furnace Visage can be used to craft the Hefty Furnace Pots in Elden Ring. It is a throwable item that causes significant damage to (Armored) Furnace Golems wiping out a third of their health bar.

However, you first need to find Greater Potentate’s Cookbook before they can get the crafting option for the Hefty Furnace Pot.

Additionally, you need ingredients like Ember of Messmer, Redflash Mushroom, and Hefty Cracked Pot to craft the Hefty Furnace Pot. It is surely a lot of work to find all these items but at the end of the day, it is worth it.

Here is how you can find all the above-mentioned items:

• Greater Potentate’s Cookbook – It is found under the bridge to Castle Ensis, which is early into the Gravesite Plains.
• Ember of Messmer – Found in the Scadu Atlus region, after Castle Ensis.
• Redflesh Mushroom – Found scattered in forested regions.
• Hefty Cracked Pot – The earliest one can be found in the Scorched Ruins.
