Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree features a bunch of new content. Apart from savage weapons, beautiful unexplored locations, there’s also some vintage costumes which only add to the antique feel of the game. However, finding every new piece of armor in Shadow of the Erdtree on top of completing the main walkthrough can be pretty time consuming.
1Nameless Mausoleum Armor Sets
There are four Nameless Mausoleums and each one has an opponent for you to defeat. Upon victory, you will receive a bountiful reward.
2High Priest Set
Obtain this set by completing the Ymir Finger Ruins quest.
3Dryleaf Set
Emerge victorious in a duel against Dryleaf Dane. You will receive the first piece of the armor set here.
4NPC Quests
There are several NPC quests in Shadow of the Erdtree. Complete these to receive armor sets and other rewards. Here’s a few you must do– Thiollier quest, Ansbach quest, Freyja quest.
5St. Trina’s Blossom
After the Thiollier quest and the final boss fight in Shadow of the Erdtree, talk to St. Trina in her cave to receive this armor.
6Gravebird Set
There are five pieces in this armor set scattered in different locations. They will remind you of the stone fowls you will keep seeing in the DLC. Here’s where you can find the complete set:
- Armor and bracelets: Gravesite Plain
- Anklets: Scadu Altus
- Blackquill Armor: Rauh Base
- Ashes: Charo’s Hidden Grave
- Helm: Enir-Ilim
7Boss Fight Armor Sets
After defeating certain bosses, you will be eligible to purchase armor sets from Enia at the Roundtable Hold.
- Rellana Set – Rellana Twin Moon Night
- Gaius Set – Commander Gaius
- Messmer Set – Messmer the Impaler
- Young Lion Set – Final boss in nir-Ilim
8Messmer Soldier Set
You will come across multiple Messmer Soldiers in the Realm of Shadow including the camps at Castle Ensis, Shadow Keep, and Rauh Base.
9Messmer Knight Set
The brave knights are dressed in black armor and found in camps in the Realm of Shadow.
10Fire Knight Set
These masters of fire are excellent fighters. Watch out for them in the Shadow Keep.
11Ascetic Set
Defeat the Ascetic enemy to obtain this set. These creatures wildly swing chakrams to disturb you.
12Crucible Hammer Helm
At the Site of Grace in Ancient Ruins of Rauh, you will face Devonia. Defeat her to obtain the crucible armor piece and colossal weapon.
13Divine Bird Helm
Although the Divine Bird Helm can be found in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh, there’s a couple of things you have to do first in Castle Ensis. At the Site of Grace in Highroad Cross, go west and check the ruins in the lake guarded by an ogre mage. Use an Imbued Stonesword Key to activate the teleporter and head over to the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. Defeat the enemy to receive your reward.
14Death Mask Helm
Drain the flood water in Shadow Keep’s Church District. Then head over to the main cathedral where there is a Fire Knight. Eliminate him to acquire to the armor piece.
15Winged Serpent Helm
Go to Messmer’s chamber in Shadow Keep and take out the pyromancer.
16Salza’s Hood
Head over to the Specimen Storehouse at the Site of Grace in Shadow Keep. Turn left and step on to the lift. Walk to narrow pathways until you reach the western ramparts. Here, you will battle a pyromancer.
17Pelt of Ralva
Go to the lake in Scadu Altus by follow the northen road. Defeat Ralva the Great Red Bear to receive the armor piece.
18Death Knight Set
This armor set is found in the Darklight Catacombs on the way to Recluses River or Abyssal Woods. Once inside, look for a lever which will light up the room. Head down the steps and keep exploring until you reach a small room where you will find this armor.
19Night Armor Set
It is located inside the dungeon called Bonny Gaol in Scadu Altus.
20Igon’s Set
South of the Pillar Path waypoint, there should be a man named Igon. On the way to Jagged Peak, kill him to obtain his greatbow and armor set. Make sure to do this on the first turn itself since Igon will be absent if you decide to put off killing him and return later.
21Oathseeker Knight Set
It can be found in the Church of Benediction. At the Three-Path Cross waypoint, head west until you reach the Main Gate. Do not proceed further instead turn back and you will see a cliffside path. Follow it to reach the church.
22Circlet of Light
Defeat the final boss to obtain it.
23Greatjar Helm
Just northwest of the Site of Grace in Three-Path Cross, go to the Belurat Gaol. Here, you will find the massive ceramic helm.
24Divine Beast Head and Helm
The massive lion head is dropped by the Divine Beast Dancing Lion once defeated in Belurat Tower Settlement. The helm on the other hand is in Enir-Ilim.
25Horned Knight’s Helm
Defeat the Horned Knight in combat at the Small Private Altar Site of Grace to receive the armor piece.

Elden Ring is the next major title to be released by FromSoftware, the developers of Demon’s Souls, Bloodborne and the Dark Souls franchise. Elden Ring is set to release on the February 25th, 2022.
The game is set in a world known as The Lands Between. Players will take control of a Tarnished to explore these lands and uncover the secrets it holds. The game is an open-world style title with emphasis on combat and traversal. There is also a multiplayer component, along players to summon others for co-operative play, or to be invaded for PvP encounters.
