Comet Azur is a legendary sorcery spell item in the latest open-world RPG Elden Ring. This intellect-based spell fires a tremendous comet within a starry torrent that deals severe damage to the enemies from a great distance. This late-game spell is a must-have for all the gamers who play a sorcerer class in Elden Ring, but the journey to obtain this item is a long one.
Comet Azur can be acquired by speaking to Primeval Sorcerer Azur in Hermit Village, near the cliffs of Mt. Gelmir in the Atlus Plateau (northeast) region of the game’s map.
Refer to the map given below for the exact location of the Primeval Sorcerer Azur.
You must first make your way to Mt. Gelmir, located in the western part of the Atlus Plateau region. Explore this region to find the grace site ‘Seethewater River.’ From this site, walk to the north, and you will reach Seethwater cave. Head west along with the ravine from the cave and turn left to find Seethwater Terminus Site of Grace.
Here, you will also find a large lava lake, walk to the south from here and follow the path along the lake until you encounter the Craftsman’s Shack Site of Grace.
From this location, you can easily ride to the Hermit Village, which is located to the north. Along the path you will soon encounter the optional Demi-Human Queen Maggie boss. The Primeval Sorcerer Azur Site of Grace is located just left to her, and the Primeval Sorcerer Azur himself will be sitting next to the site. Interact with him, and he will grant you the Comet Azur sorcery for free!
Is Comet Azur spell any good in Elden Ring?
Comet Azur is the most powerful spell in Elden Ring. It is considered highly over-powered by the entire Elden Ring community as it can easily one-shot all common enemies and several bosses in the game!
As good as it is, the Comet Azur spell also has some harsh limitations to using it. First of all, as a minimum requirement, you must have at least 60 Intelligence attribute points. If you are no way near this much Intellect, then you can respec and reallocate attribute points to your character by visiting Rennala at Raya Lucaria Grand Library.
Apart from the stats, you also need three empty memory slots to use it. Once you meet all these conditions, the spell will take a whopping 40 FPs to cast. Still, no matter how challenging these conditions may sound, once you use Comet Azur, you will be no less powerful than a god in Elden Ring’s world.
