Deathloop has a wide variety of futuristic weapons, but some of them are just way more stylish than the rest. These unique weapons are indicated through the golden shade of the weapon pick-up prompt and are considered “legendary.”
All these gold weapons have a specialty attached to them, but getting your hands on them is not that easy. In fact, a player may come across only a couple of such weapons without looking up a guide.
Deathloop has (four) 4 unique gold weapons that a player can only acquire if they are at the right location at the right time. Here is where and when you can acquire the gold weapons in Deathloop:
Weapon | Place | Time | To do |
Strelak Verso (Pistol/SMG) | Ordnance Depot | Noon | Open the door to Ordnance Depot by inserting three batteries |
Sepulchra Breteira (Sniper Rifle) | Updaam | Afternoon | Kill the assassins in the apartment above the bakery. |
Constancy Automatic (Dual Mag Pistol) | Fristad Rock | Anytime | Kill Frank- One of the Eight Visionaries |
The Heritage Gun (Shotgun/ Long Range Rifle) | Karl’s Bay | Night | Complete Charlie’s game- Fathoms of Lament |
#1 Strelak Verso (Pistol/SMG)
Strelak Verso can be found inside the locked Ordnance Depot beneath the Complex at Noon by following the “In this Together” Arsenal Lead in Deathloop.
Strelak Verso are dual pistols that players can combine to make an SMG.
Players need to find and insert three charged batteries into the slots to access the Ordnance Depot. The first battery is right outside the room where you need to insert the batteries.
It is powering a floodlight on the forklift. Remove the battery, take it to the circular/rotating room where you came from, and put it into the battery slot to power up and rotate the walls.
Enter the new area opened after the rotation of the walls, remove the second battery attached to another floodlight, and put it inside the rotating room.
The third battery can be found on the lower level of this newly opened area. Take two rights, then one left, and go down the stairs. Here to your left, you will find a room with a metallic orb at the center. Remove the third battery from the station near it.
Take all these three batteries back to the entrance of Ordnance Depot and put them into the slots. The door will open, walk right in and pick up your Strelak Verso.
#2 Sepulchra Breteira (Sniper Rifle)
Sepulchra Breteira can be obtained in the afternoon in Updaam by following the “Keep on Giving” Arsenal Lead and killing the assassins camping in the apartment above the bakery, across the alley from Colt’s apartment.
As you reach the area, you will hear an announcement from an “Angry Eternalist” who has prepared a “surprise” for you in the open. You can head straight for the bakery at this point. Sneak your way to the apartment over the bakery, take out the assassins and claim your Sepulchra Breteira.
#3 Constancy Automatic (Dual Mag Pistol)
Constancy Automatic can be obtained on Fristad Rock by killing the Visionary ‘Frank- the Musician’ in Deathloop.
You can enter the building using a ClassPass, but you will lose your abilities by doing that, making it challenging to take on Frank. Instead, enter the building through the bathroom and disable the security of the building to use your slabs.
Frank is hiding inside the locked recording booth. Now, you can either hack the antenna on the door to unlock the booth or kill all the Eternalists present there, which will make Frank come outside to you.
You can kill Frank in any manner you like, just remember to pick up the golden Constancy Automatic once you are done with him.
#4 The Heritage Gun (Shotgun/ Long Range Rifle)
The Heritage Gun can be acquired at night in Karl’s Bay by following the “Super Shifty” Arsenal Lead and completing Charlie’s game- Fathoms of Lament in Deathloop.
In this game, players have to open different gifts hidden around the area before they blow up to complete the game and get the weapon. Enter the Fathoms of Lament building, and you will see a map with blinking lights:
- The blue blinking lights on the map indicate the gifts already opened,
- The white lights indicate the gifts you have to open, and
- The red lights mark the gifts that blew up before you could open them.
Unfortunately, the locations of the gifts to be opened are always randomized, so you will have to find them yourself. Each location with a gift will have a small puzzle/game for you to complete before opening the gift.
When you open a gift that shoots off green fireworks, it means you got a prize, but if the fireworks are red, run for your life because it will blow up.
Once you have successfully opened all the gifts, the metallic locked door in the Fathoms of Lament building will open up. Head inside and pull the lever.
This action will begin a final game of pulling levers and avoiding lasers, which you must complete within 45 seconds. Once you complete this game, you can collect the Heritage Gun from a cylinder near the map in Fathoms of Lament.
If you fail at any point throughout the game, you will have to come back the next night and try all over again.
