A Comprehensive List of All Armor Sets & How to Get Them – Remnant 2

Remnant 2 has a variety of armor sets that you can unlock and use in combat. There are 18 known armor sets in the game, and they can be obtained from different locations. The armor sets in this game are more about style than substance, but they’re still useful as they provide good defense.

These armor sets are of four types:

1. Light armor sets
2. Medium armor sets
3. Heavy armor sets
4. Ultra heavy armor sets

Light armor sets offer fast movement and low defense; medium armor sets offer a balance between them; heavy armor sets focus primarily on defense and less on mobility; and ultra heavy armor sets (there’s just one) offer insanely high defense but very low mobility.

Weights are one of the most important aspects of an armor set, as they determine how fast you’ll be able to dodge and how much Stamina it’ll cost to do so.

The lighter the set is, the quicker you are, and the heavier the set is, the slower you are. It’s also worth noting that armor sets cannot be upgraded in any way. All the stats are fixed and cannot be changed.

1. What is the best light armor set in Remnant 2?

The Space Worker set is the best light armor set in the game, as it provides great mobility along with decent defense paired with high shock resistance.

This armor set can be obtained inside the Void Vessel Facility, located in N’Erud. It’ll be locked behind a secret door that can be unlocked using the Stasis Pod Glyph.

2. What is the best medium armor set in Remnant 2?

The Red Widow armor set is the best medium armor set in the game, as it provides exceptional defense paired with high resistance to Bleed and Blight effects. Plus, it looks ridiculously cool with horns sticking out of the helmet.

It’s located in The Lament in Yaesha. After completing the Consort’s Puzzle, go to the room in which you fought Wither and break the pots to reveal a secret passage in the corner. Descend and head right towards another secret passage, which will have the Supply Room Key that can unlock the door with the queen’s symbol.

The door will lead to a room with a chest and a collapsed wall that leads to a trap hallway. To successfully avoid the traps, you’ll need to walk crouching and avoid the raised platforms. After that, you’ll come across a coffin, from which you’ll obtain the Red Widow armor set.

3. What is the best heavy armor set in Remnant 2?

The Fae Royal set is the best heavy armor set, as it provides great defense paired with good resistance to Fire and Bleed damage. While the armor isn’t that mobile, its defense makes up for it.

You can unlock the Fae Royal armor set by playing the match-three game in the Postulant’s Parlor in Losomn. It’ll be locked behind one of the doors there, and they’re randomized so keep looking for it.

4. What is the best ultra heavy armor set in Remnant 2?

The Leto Mark II is the best ultra heavy armor set, as it’s the only one in the game. It does have a ridiculous armor weight value, but that is compensated by its exceptional defense and resistance to all kinds of damage.

To unlock the set, you’ll need the Biome Portal Key. After obtaining the key, head to the Fractured Ingress area of the Labyrinth. At the end of the area, you’ll find a door that can be opened with the key. It’ll lead to Ward 13, where the armor will be located in a stash.
