Diablo Immortal, a free-to-play MMORPG developed by Blizzard for PC and mobile devices, is quickly gaining popularity among gamers worldwide. Hailed for its combat and graphics, Diablo Immortal was specially created for the mobile gaming audience comprising of Android and iOS users.
Still, shockingly, a vast chunk of these mobile users are affected by an error that reads “Your device isn’t compatible with this version” on the Google Play Store or the AppStore itself despite their devices meeting the minimum hardware requirement criteria.
Blizzard has acknowledged the Diablo Immortal’s compatibility error, and the developers are currently working on it to fix the issue. Players can get all the updates regarding this error from the Blizzard forum post below.
Samsung and Xiaomi Mobile Devices are Majorly Affected by the Diablo Immortal Compatibility Error
This pesky compatibility issue mainly affects the Samsung and Xiaomi mobile users. On the one hand, where the game incorrectly shows the Xiaomi devices as incompatible, Samsung users are facing this problem due to the Exynos chipset commonly found in their Galaxy models.
In the initial phase of Diablo Immortal’s launch, Blizzard received several complaints that the game’s textures were not loading on devices with an Exynos chipset. As a response, the devs temporarily disabled the downloads for all the Exynos chipset-containing devices and are currently working on patching up the issue.
Here is a list of all the Samsung Galaxy devices that are currently facing the compatibility error due to the Exynos chipset:
- Galaxy A12
