Just like every other game, God of War Ragnarok has some minor issues which require fixing. It is undoubtedly a flawless experience, but it still suffers from issues that are negligible yet pretty noticeable.
Players are reporting that they are facing an audio bug while playing God of War Ragnarok on PlayStation 5. The bug causes the game to have no sound in gameplay or cutscenes. As of now, no official patch has been released to fix the issue, other than the Day One update.
While you wait for an official patch to fix the audio bug for God of War Ragnarok on PS5, you can try a fix that requires you to turn off the Enhanced High Performance option in the Graphics Settings. This seemed to have fixed the audio issue for most of the players.
If the above fix doesn’t work, then you may try out secondary fixes, such as restarting the game or manually switching the sound source from your headphones to your TV. You may revert back to the headphones if that doesn’t work. The final fix would be to uninstall the game completely and reinstall it from scratch.
There’s neither an official fix for this bug nor a guaranteed workaround to resolve this issue. However, the first fix should do the job for you as it worked for a lot of players. Hopefully, Sony Santa Monica rolls out a patch as soon as possible in the near future.
