How to find the Turtle Tear and defeat the Apramana Bat boss in Black Myth: Wukong?

The Turtle Tear is a special soak item of epic rarity in Black Myth: Wukong. It helps you to recover Mana at full health while using the gourd.

However, it can only be found during the Turtle Tear quest in Chapter 3, so if you aren’t there yet just sit tight and progress through the campaign.

1. How to get the Turtle Tear in Black Myth: Wukong?

The Turtle Tear can be found near the North Shore of the Bitter Lake in the New West region in Chapter 3 after defeating the Apramana Bat boss in Black Myth: Wukong.

Therefore, you simply need to progress in the game’s storyline until you unlock the New West region in Chapter 3 and find the North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine. After that, you need to do a couple of things perfectly for this tear to be spawned.

2. Initiating the Apramana Bat Boss Fight

After fast traveling to the North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine, ensure that you are accompanied by Zhu Bajie, the pig NPC, or this boss will not appear.

Starting from the shrine, turn right and head towards the lake shore. Run along the shore. You will see giant snake skeletons scattered around these lands.

Keep following the shore until a diversion appears, where you have to take the right path and go through the snake skeleton forming an arched gateway. As soon as you cross it, you will see a prompt on a skeleton head on the left.

Go towards it and the Apramana Bat boss fight will initiate.

3. How to defeat the Apramana Bat Boss in Black Myth: Wukong?

The Apramana Bat boss can easily be defeated by keeping it grounded and dealing damage to it when it’s staggered in Black Myth: Wukong.

The Apramana Bat is an optional flying boss who deals ranged damage, and thus, can be really annoying. However, it is not that difficult to beat.

Just keep it grounded and do as much physical damage as possible before it takes off into the air again. The Immobilize Spell can be extremely helpful in this fight. Also, you need to be skilled at dodging to avoid counter-attacks.

4. Finding the Turtle Tear after Defeating Apramana Bat Boss

After you defeat the boss, a cutscene will initiate where you will see a giant turtle rising from the lake and shedding a bright green-blue-colored tear on the shores of the lake.

Zhu Bajie will ask the turtle to stop shedding tears. He will then advise you to get the last tear you saw falling onto the shore because it holds great power.

It is really difficult to miss the tear now, just walk towards the shore to where you saw it fall. It will be stuck on the ground glowing green and blue among the rocks near the shore. Pick it up and you will be able to use it to restore mana.
