When you stumble into Neely’s Bar at the intersection by Sanders and Neely Streets, you will see a dimly lit room with the remnants of what once was a lively point. This is a save point in the Silent Hill 2 remake. However, there is a twisting puzzle waiting for you by the jukebox!
Inside Neely’s Bar, you will find a covered record jukebox. The jukebox is broken and there’s a half broken vinyl record. You need to look for the other half. Then, put it back together and get the jukebox up and running.
Missing Jukebox Parts
Go to the bar counter. You will find a note with two clues talking about the missing items– a button from the jukebox and the other half of the vinyl.
Check your map for two new markers: ‘Residential Complex on South Street’ and ‘Groovy Music’.
Now you know where to go!
Missing Jukebox Button
Head over to South Street. Look for a door marked with the number 16.
There should be a note behind bars. The note reveals that the keys for apartment number 5 are in the locker. Grab them and go to the hallway.
You have to go to apartment 9 next. It’s on the third floor but since the stairs are closed off, go through apartment 5.
Use the keys to get into the apartment and use the crack in the wall to access the outside stairs. Jump into the window of apartment 9.
Go to the bathroom. The missing button will be inside the hole in the wall.
Missing Half of the Record
Your next stop is the record store named “Groovy Music”.
There’s a note on the counter. It mentions that the broken record half is right here in the store.
There’s a glass partition opposite the records. Break it and enter the room. You will find the other half of the vinyl record along with some glue.
You need to put together the record by gluing the two halves.
Start the Jukebox
Find a Neely’s Bar token
For the jukebox to run, you need to insert a token. If you haven’t already found it yet, explore the bar to get a token.
Restore the Jukebox mechanism
Before you put the record on, you need to restore the machine.
Turn the record holder back and lower the blue lever. Return the holder to its default position and press the lever. A vinyl stand will pop out now. Place the vinyl record here.
Launch the record
To start the machine, press the ‘C’ button followed by the ‘2’ button. Lastly, insert the token you just collected into the slot.
That’s it! The jukebox will now begin playing the record. A cutscene will begin featuring your old memories. At the end, you will receive the key to the door at Neely’s.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is an upcoming survival horror video game developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami. The game is set to be released on PlayStation 5 and Windows on 8th October, 2024.
It is a remake of the 2001 video game of the same name and will be the first major installment in the Silent Hill franchise since Silent Hill: Downpour in 2012.
