Genshin Impact boasts of numerous resources and collectibles, guaranteed to help players during their journey through Sumeru. The Plumes of Purifying Light is one such resource. They are fragments left by the Khvarena entities after using up their power. These Plumes are scattered throughout Sumeru.
There are a total of 36 Plumes of Purifying Light in Genshin Impact. Players have to collect only 26 of them while the remaining 10 are obtained after completing the Fravashi Tree puzzles during the Pale Fire quest in Genshin Impact. Once collected, players need to deliver them to the Amrita Pool.
In order to collect all the Plumes of Purifying Light, you’ll need to make use of your companion, Sorush.
Let’s take a look at the locations of all 26 Plumes of Purifying Light in Genshin Impact:
1Plume of Purifying Light 1
Teleport to Vourukasha Oasis Statue of the Seven. There should be a large broken branch over a river due southeast. The first Plume of Purifying Light is found inside the branch.
2Plume of Purifying Light 2
Head to the southern teleport waypoint at Vourukasha Oasis. Players will be able to locate the second Plume of Purifying Light floating right above the small heart-shaped pool to the east.
3Plume of Purifying Light 3
This Plume is also located on large tree branch forming an arch over the river directly east of the huge tree at Vourukasha Oasis. Look inside the hollowed tree stump to find the Plume.
4Plume of Purifying Light 4
Fast travel to the Hills of Barsom, then head towards east past the cave under Hills of Blossom. Players will find the fourth Plume of Purifying Light will be found at the edge of the cliff.
5Plume of Purifying Light 5
Go to the Purification Spring domain at Hills of Barsom and turn northeast towards the giant tree. Players will be able to locate the fifth Plume above a small branch between the giant tree and the domain.
6Plume of Purifying Light 6
Use the Asipattravana Swamp waypoint, and head south to collect the sixth Plume located on the top of a branch.
7Plume of Purifying Light 7
From the sixth Plume location, return to the Asipattravana Swamp waypoint. Turn northwest toward the Udumbara and use the Sigils to climb the higher cliff. The Plume will be located on a branch.
8Plume of Purifying Light 8
Go to the teleport waypoint which is to the west of Asipattravana Swamp. Climb the rocks directly in front of it with the Four-Leaf Sigil to find the eighth Plume.
9Plume of Purifying Light 9
For this plume, players need to walk south from the previous Plume and climb the cliff behind the Hilichurl’s camp. The Plume will be located on top of it, directly facing the Shrine of Depths of Realm of Farakhkert.
10Plume of Purifying Light 10
Teleport to the Realm of Farakhkert Statue of the Seven, then head west to the broken bridge. Make use of the Four-Leaf Sigil to reach the other cliff. Once players pass the stone arch and reach the Hilichurl camp, turn northwest. The Plume will be located right beside the Soul Bell.
11Plume of Purifying Light 11
From the previous tenth Plume, move north to the two Hilichurl sitting at the edge of the cliff. Players will be able to locate the eleventh Plume there.
12Plume of Purifying Light 12
For this Plume, players will have to reach the Hilichurl camp once again. Upon reaching it, run southeast then turn south to reach the Plume at Temir Mountains.
13Plume of Purifying Light 13
Teleport to Temir Mountains Statue of the Seven, then head south to locate the Plume. It should be floating between small branches.
14Plume of Purifying Light 14
From the previous Plume, continue down the path then turn west in order to climb the mountain. From there, go north to find the Plume located above some pointed structures.

From the previous Plumes locations, head west towards the place containing thorny rocks. Players can locate the Plume floating on one of the rocks.

Head northwest from the previous Plume location to find the sixteenth Plume of Purifying Light which should be floating above a rock between two gigantic trees.
17Plume of Purifying Light 17
Teleport to Temir Mountains Statue of the Seven, then head west toward Tunigi Hollow. The Plume of Purifying Light will be located there.

Fast trave to Tunigi Hollow underground waypoint and head west crossing the ruin door. Continue down the same direction by walking along the cave’s path until a Fravashi Tree appears. Players will be able to find the Plume located above the tree.

Once again, fast travel to Tunigi’s underground waypoint. Take the southern door (machine door on the right) and walk all the way until the lava furnace is reached, then head right and go through the doorway on the east. The Plume will be floating below a rock.
20Plume of Purifying Light 20
Teleport to the northwestern underground waypoint of Gate of Zulqarnain. Once players reach there, they’ll find a giant crystallized serpent skeleton and a small cliff right beside it. The Plume will be located on the cliff.

Players will be able to locate this Plume on top of a cactus right beside the north Tunigi Hollow waypoint.
22Plume of Purifying Light 22
Players can find this Plume on top of another cactus. Head northeast toward the investigated Fatui’s camp to find the Plume located atop another cactus.

Fast travel to Gate of Zulqarnain waypoint, the go southeast to locate the Plume which is going to be on top of a Gray Crystal.

First, teleport to the nearest underground waypoint from Gate of Zulqarnain. After teleporting, go towards the Iniquitous Baptist. Once players reach the world map boss’s arena, turn south. The Plume will be located atop a stone pillar.
25Plume of Purifying Light 25
Head to Samudra Coast from the surface. Once players have reached the surface, the Plume can be found by dispersing the sand.

In order to locate this Plume, Fast Travel to the Asipattravana Swamp underground waypoint and run north all the way down to the Proving Ground. Use the Sigil northeast of the Ruin Canon and Collect the Plume from the top of the branch.
Deliver the Plumes of Purifying Light to the Amrita Pool
Once all the Plumes of Purifying Light have been retrieved, head to the Amrita Pool. This location can be unlocked after completing The Splendorous Sky That Day quest with Sorush. When unlocked, the Amrita Pool will be indicated by a flower-like symbol on the map.
