Right after you begin Alan Wake 2’s The Lake House expansion, you will come across a computer. However, you need a code to access it which you have to find. There are clues to point you towards the code. A while later, a level -2 code will also appear. Check out this guide to know what these codes are.
The Lake House Computer Passcode
The computer passcode is 071838.
Enter the code when prompted to access security door controls.

So, according to the security memo on the computer desk, the code changes daily. It has a fixed format– a set of permanent numbers and then a few variable numbers which are changed everyday. It must not be a birthday or the present date.
The calendar next to the memo reveals the changing numbers, the actress Hedy Lamarr’s age, 38. Fun fact, she also invented a torpedo guidance system. You can cross out 14 since it is the actual date so it can’t be used.
Now, we only have to figure out the permanent sequence. Take a walk around the room. You will see diplomas and certificates on the wall. Look closely at the Notice of Appointment and note down the date when the facility was complete. It was finished on July 18th or 07/18.
Combine both these numbers and you will have the computer code– 071838!
After unlocking the security booth, make sure to grab the Security Clearance 01 Keycard. You need to access the lift.
The Lake House Level -2 Passcode
The level -2 computer passcode is 220925.
Use the Security Clearance 02 Keycard to unlock the nearby door. The computer is inside this room. Just like before, the code for this computer also changes daily.
Read the note next to the computer. It mentions that an anniversary is a week away from ‘next’ Friday. The email on the computer has the clue for the computer code. The email reads “Today’s Password is the date of our SPECIAL UNFORGETTABLE ANNIVERSARY plus brown shape with horns.”
Check the calendar and figure out the date of the anniversary i.e. 09/22. Moving on to the “brown shape with horns”, it is the last painting on the second page of the notes with the number 25.
There you go, combine all these numbers and you will have your code.
