Hogwarts Legacy lets fans explore the castle like never before, and fans of the movies and books will be delighted to hear that Hogwarts is full of hidden locations for them to discover. One of these hidden locations is the Werewolf Tapestry.
The good thing about the tapestry is that you don’t need to cast any spells or pick any locks to get inside. The hard part is actually finding where it’s located. It’s located in the tapestry gallery in the dungeons of Hogwarts, but we’ll tell you how to get there.
Here’s the easiest way to get to the tapestry:
- Head to the Bell Tower Wing of Hogwarts and travel to the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame.
- As soon as you spawn in, take the path on the left and head up the stairs.
- After climbing the first set of stairs, enter the first door that you see on the top of them. This will lead you to a stairwell.
- Don’t go up the stairs, instead, go down and then go through the door on the right.
- Turn left and you’ll notice a large tapestry depicting a mother and her child with the letter ‘K’ on the bottom.
This is the entrance to the Werewolf Tapestry.
How to enter the Werewolf Tapestry?
You don’t need any fancy tricks or spells to enter the Werewolf Tapestry. All you need to do is just walk into the large ‘K’ at the bottom of the tapestry. It will open just like a normal door and lead into a hallway of marble statues. Head through the corridor and you’ll find a door at the end of it.
Go through this door, and you’ll find yourself in the Werewolf Tapestry Room. In front of the furthest left tapestry, use Revelio and you’ll earn the Werewolf Saga Tapestries Field Guide Page.
What’s inside the Werewolf Tapestry?
The Werewolf Tapestry room contains the Werewolf Saga Tapestries Field Guide and a Chest from which you’ll receive a random piece of gear. However, the six tapestries lined up on the wall have a story to tell which is interesting especially if you’re into lore stuff.
The tapestries tell a story of a witch that was bitten by a werewolf. Walking up to the individual tapestries and casting Lumos will change the artwork of the tapestries and will tell you the real story. This doesn’t really reward the player with anything useful but it’s still a great detail which really makes Hogwarts feel lively.

Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world RPG from Avalanche Studio. The game places the player in the wizarding school of Hogwarts, allowing them to witness the iconic locations as a character other than Harry Potter.
