Daughters of Lerion – Origin, Locations and Combat Tips – AC Valhalla

During the ninth century, an ealdorman and a member of the Order of the Ancients, Lerion, dreamt of taking over the throne of Mercia. He allied with Aella of Northumbria and Thegn Leofwine to dethrone King Burgred.

But, Leofwine grew greedy of Lerion’s riches, and as an act of betrayal, reported his plan to King Edmund. As a result, he was charged with treason and assassinated.

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Lerion’s daughters Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia, who reveled in the occult and practiced dark magic, managed to escape. They spread across eastern England as fugitives in hopes of avenging their father’s brutal murder.

Here’s a guide on locating and beating each of the three daughters of Lerion.

Daughter of Lerion #1 – Goneril

Goneril Location

You can find Goneril in Spelda Fens, Grantebridgescire. She’ll present herself when you interact with a desecrated body lying below a gigantic dead tree in a large arena among the swamps of the Isle of Ely Monastery.

She’s the eldest daughter of Lerion and likely the first sibling you’ll come across in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Additionally, she’s a powerful witch with a power level of 90 in the game.

I. How to beat Goneril?

Goneril

You can beat Goneril by choosing skills like “Brush with Death” to find openings while dodging her attacks and “Heavy Duel” to pair long-range weapons with a shield for maximum defense. Besides, you should reach at least level 50.

When she uses her heavy spinning blow along with a forward jump, players can find openings to stun her and inflict damage. At times, when she summons a phantom to attack you, quickly roll to the side to dodge it and counter-attack.

Players can parry her to shake her balance, and once she stumbles back, attack with a long-range weapon.

Note: Once Goneril reaches half her health, she’ll employ poisonous green mist circles, and it’s necessary for the players to anticipate their placements to dodge them.

As Goneril’s weak point is on her back, you use melee abilities like “Valkyrie Dive” or “Rush and Bash” to pin her down and inflict more damage.

Once you’re in sync with the pattern, finish her off and claim your reward.

Daughter of Lerion #2 – Regan

Regan Location

In Assassin’s Creed, you’ll find Regan in Walsham Crag, East Anglia. Look for a lowered area on the northern coast of East Anglia, and you’ll find a pit of dead bodies in it. Regan will show herself once you interact with the desecrated body below the rocks.

Like her sister, Regan is a master of the dark arts and possesses a power level of 160 in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

I. How to beat Regan?

Regan

Since a mirror image that can also inflict damage follows up Regan’s attacks, your best shot at beating Regan comes by investing in “Brush with Death” and 1v1 combating skills. Furthermore, make sure to be above a power level of 100 before attempting this fight.

Players should prepare to dodge in cases where Regan jumps or kneels as it’s an indication of an unblockable attack coming their way.

Note: After dodging Regan, remember to wait for her mirror image’s attack before going in for a counter-attack.

She’ll often parry after you inflict a few blows on her, so it’s wise to never go beyond a couple of strikes and move away if you find her raising one of her swords near her face. Then, parry back on her to make a few decisive hits.

Once Regan loses half her health, she’ll draw power from the surroundings, so it’s wise to wait until she wears herself out again.

Equip runes with fire resistance on your armor to deal with the trail of fire she’ll leave behind. Then, pull out your bow to stay away from her fire attacks because her leaping unblockable grab is potent enough to kill you.

Make optimum use of the available openings, account for her mirror image, and look out for her parrying stance until you defeat her for good.

Daughter of Lerion #3 – Cordelia

Cordelia Location

You can find the third daughter of Lerion, Cordelia, in Berkelow Bog, East Anglia. Locate an arena festering with the dead and unfamiliar ritual symbols, and you’ll notice a hanging corpse. Once you interact with it, the fight with Cordelia will begin.

She’s the youngest and the brawniest sibling with a power level of 340 in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

I. How to beat Cordelia?

Cordelia

Cordelia can land quick blows, parry well, and is one of the most resilient bosses. Hence, you can beat her only with the benefits of skills like “Brush with Death,” “Parry Damage,” and “Adrenaline Fiend.” You can utilize “Last Chance Healing” or “Grit” to survive in dire situations.

Note: Like her sister, Regan, Cordelia can parry well. So, it’s advisable not to overdo your attacks and watch out for her parrying stance.

After parrying her blows, players should stick to fast weapons like spears and daggers. Also, equip a shield to help block quick attacks when parrying becomes difficult. And, be quick to dodge spinning attacks, light combos, or teleportation strikes.

Unlike her sisters, Cordelia summons her phantoms by teleporting away to instill an element of surprise. The phantoms’ attacks are swift and deadly. You can avoid it with a move like Harpoon Impalement by shutting her down before she can summon them. Moreover, you can use “Valkyrie Dive” to dodge the phantoms, although it’s next to impossible.

When she’s half her strength, Cordelia will draw more power and try to attack you with thunderbolts. But you can easily outrun them and get close to her. Subsequently, hit her to knock her out of her lightning mode.

Lastly, find an opportunity to parry an attack and use “Focus of the Nornir” to delay time. Then, dash behind and attack her from the back to clear her stun meter.
