How to find all purple talismans? Supreme Inspector Guide – Black Myth: Wukong

There are several optional boss fights in Black Myth: Wukong. In fact, if you are not observant enough, you might even end up missing out. One such boss is the Supreme Inspector. It is not as easy as stumbling upon the boss in a secret location. Players have to first complete a side quest to trigger the fight.

In Chapter 4, a cutscene will play out showing a Spider sister trying to remove a purple talisman to be free. You will be given the choice to do this task yourself. There are four pillars containing the purple talisman. Removing all four will begin your fight against the Supreme Inspector.

How to defeat the Supreme Inspector?

The Supreme Inspector has large wings and a hand for a head. He has, what may seem like, an endless health line.

The boss has two primary defenses– he will deploy a burning wheel which can hurt you if you come too close or deflect your attacks with wings. A major advantage the boss has over you is the ability to fly. Even if you attack relentlessly, he will simply fly away before doing a counter-attack. Don’t be surprised if a majority of your attacks don’t land.

At the beginning, the Supreme Inspector will start with an Aerial Speed Kick. Immediately use Immobilize and follow it up with Wandering Wight Spirit.

He will then throw Ice Blades which can be easily dodged. Continue to do as many quick attacks as you can.

If the burning wheel comes after you, outrun it until it stops.

When the Supreme Inspector’s health drops below 30%, the second phase of the fight will begin. He will create a burning circle of fire around the area, trapping you inside. However, he can move in and out of the ring using his wings.

If the Supreme Inspector is airborne, focus on dodging his attacks. Resume your quick strikes the moment he lands on ground. Save your Mana for Immobilize. Remember to stay away from the flames or you will burn.
