Express yourself with emotes in the First Descendant- How to use them?

The First Descendant is a third-person action RPG shooter where players become descendants and protect humanity on planet Ingris with the help of their ancestor’s powers. However, you are not alone in this. Players can co-op with their friends to fight against monsters and protect humanity. 

Now, playing the game without any online interaction would be boring. That’s where the emotes come into action. Emotes are a fun way to express yourself and interact with your co-op buddies while playing the game.  

1. How to emote in the First Descendant?

Players can use emotes from the emote wheel. The emote wheel showcases all the available emotes in the First Descendant.

Click the L key if you are using a PC or left on the d-pad if you are using a controller to bring out the emote wheel. Now, you just need to select the emote you want. The emote wheel features all the emotes that are selected by you in the settings or the default ones if you haven’t changed anything. 

2. How to change emotes in the First Descendant?

To equip new emotes or to change them in the emote wheel:

• Open your equipment screen. 

• Click the Customize category.
• Select the Emotes option.

• Adjust the emotes in the emote wheel according to your desire. 
• Don’t forget to save the changes.

Some emotes will be equipped in the emote wheel by default. You can change them with new emotes. 

Emotes can be obtained by completing some specific quests throughout the game. Players can also obtain them from the Battle Pass System after climbing through tiers. The free emotes can be gained easily. However, the premium ones can only be obtained with the game’s premium currency, Caliber (can be obtained by spending real currency).
