Storage chests are handy furniture in New World that players can utilize to store all their crafts and loots. As storage chests are housing items/furniture, they can only be placed inside a house you own in one of the settlements. There are four tiers of storage chests in the game, and the higher the tier, the more items you can store in it.

The Starmetal-Braced Storage Chest Schematic can rarely be acquired by looting tier two and three supply chests from regions like Cutlass Keys, Brightwood, Ebonscale Reach, Weaver’s Fen, or most northern locations like Shattered Mountain and Great Cleave.
Unfortunately, there is no definitive way to acquire this schematic. You must keep looting the supply chest till you find it by sheer luck. Suppose it is taking you forever to obtain the schematic. Step 4: Select the “Hope Storage Chest” recipe under the furniture category from the panel on the left side of your screen.
Step 5: Use the Slider on the right side of your screen to select the quantity of the item you wish to craft. (Optional)
Step 6: Click the “Craft” option in the bottom right of your screen to craft the item.
Crafting the Hope Storage Chest will give you 4,512 furnishing XP and an increased storage capacity of 400.

- Wyrdwood Planks can be crafted at a tier-4 Woodshop using 6x Wyrdwoods, 2x Lumber, and 1x Sandpaper (Fine, Coarse or Obsidian) by a player with Woodworking skill level 100+. You can also downgrade 2x Ironwood planks into 2x Wyrdwood Planks by using 3x Weak Solvents on them in a tier-3 Woodshop.
- Starmetal Ingot can be crafted at a tier-4 Smelter using 6x Starmetal Ore, 2x Steel Ingot, 2x Charcoal, and 1x Flux (Shelldust, Sand or Obsidian) by a player with Smelting skill level 100+. You can also downgrade 2x Orichalcum Ingot into 2x Starmetal Ingot by using 3x Weak Solvents on them in a tier-3 Smelter.
- Ten units of Oak Stain can be crafted at a tier-4 Workshop using 10x Potent Solvent and 4x Oil by a player with Furnishing skill level 100+.
- Greater Rune of Holding can only be purchased by the players from their respective Faction Shop for 5,000 Faction tokens and 1,000 Gold coins after they reach rank 3 in their faction,
