One of the most rewarding quests that you’ll be able to do in Genshin Impact is the Treasure Lost, Treasure Found quest. The quest is located in the region of Liyue, so you can begin this quest pretty early on in the game, and completing the quest won’t take much time.
To complete the Treasure Lost, Treasure Found quest in Genshin Impact:
- Head to Guili Plains and talk to Soraya.
- Find all the Stone Tablets.
- Find the Jade Plates.

1. How to begin the Treasure Lost, Treasure Found quest?
To begin the quest, head to Guili Plains and talk to Soraya, who’s located along the edge of the ruins around the Domain of Forsaken Ruins.
Then she’ll give you the first task, which is finding five Stone Tablets in this area and writing down what they say.
2. How to find the Stone Tablets?
There are five Stone Tablets, and all of them are located south of Guili Plains in the ruin, beside torches, sometimes with enemies guarding them. Here are their locations:

| Ancient Stone Tablet 1 | Northwest part of the area, watch out for the slimes. |
| Ancient Stone Tablet 2 | North part of the area, keep an eye out for treasure hoarders near the tablet. |

After finding all the tablets, return to Soraya, and she’ll ask you to collect two more Stone Tablets. Here are the locations of the remaining two:

After collecting the remaining tablets, return to Soraya and she’ll ask you to meet her at Wangshu Inn to begin the second half of the quest.

3. How to find the Jade Plates?
The game will lead you to the first Jade Plate, but the rest are for you to find, and they’ll be located in the vicinity of Guili Plains, marked using white blocks on the map. Here are their exact locations:

| Strange Jade Plate 4 | Southeast of Guili Plains, near the teleport point. |
After activating all the Jade Plates, you’ll need to search for the final Jade Plate, which is located close to the ruined Guili Assembly. The blue circle below Guili Plains is its exact location.
After activating the mechanism to the North of the pool in this area, three Ruin Guards will pop up, which you’ll need to defeat.
Tip: If you’re having a hard time dealing with the Ruin Guards, you can target their weak spots on their front and back with a charged shot or lure them inside the water, and they’ll instantly drown and die.
After defeating the guards, interact with the mechanism once again. The water will drain, and the ruin will open. At the bottom of the pit, several chests will be located. Loot those chests and return to Soraya at the Inn to complete the quest.
