Assassin’s Creed has finally returned to form with its latest entry, Mirage, with more focus on parkour and stealth and a sprawling 9th-century Baghdad. But like any other entry in the series, Mirage is also filled with side quests and activities that make the world more interesting.
One of these side activities are Enigmas, which are two-part puzzles scattered throughout the map, and they lead to a treasure of some sort, like a talisman or dye. Left Behind is such Enigma, which is located somewhere in the Harbiyah region of the map.
To complete the Left Behind Enigma in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, players need to:
- Visit the Harbiyah region and locate the Enigma.
- Learn the location of the treasure from the Enigma.
- Head to the Abandoned Village on the westernmost end of the map and collect the treasure.
Locating the treasure isn’t that easy, as the drawing on the Enigma is particularly confusing and quite difficult to understand. But don’t worry, we’ll explain all the steps in detail below, starting off with the Enigma’s exact location.
1. Where to find the Left Behind Enigma Puzzle?
The Left Behind Enigma is located in the Harbiyah region of the map in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Head to the Metal Factory Landmark, then travel south from there to reach the Enigma location.
You’ll come across a clump of houses there. Look around for a sloped area between two houses leading to an open area. If you want the exact location of the Enigma after entering, simply use Enkidu.
The exact location of the Enigma will be inaccessible as the building it’s in is blocked, so you’ll need to find another way. After climbing up, you’ll immediately notice a collapsible shelf in front. Tear it down and enter the building through the window.
Inside, you’ll find the Enigma lying on the ground next to a dead man.
2. What is the Left Behind Enigma Puzzle clue?
The Left Behind Enigma Puzzle clue is actually a drawing of a village of some kind with a red lion at the bottom right, marked with an ‘X’. That ‘X’ is the location of the treasure, but it can be hard to determine the location from the drawing itself.
The Enigma drawing includes a boat, some waves, and some fish, which indicates that it depicts a fishing village. Where this village is can be quite confusing to find out, but one thing that’s certain is that the location isn’t within the city.
3. How to solve the Left Behind Enigma Puzzle?
To solve the Enigma Puzzle, players need to go to the location that’s depicted in the drawing, which is the Abandoned Village, located at the westernmost edge of the map, south of Caravanserai and west of Abbasiyah, and collect the treasure.
Follow the riverbank south, and you’ll come across an L-shaped dock that has a house, a small pier on it, a hut, and a bunch of fish placed outside of it.
Upon reaching there, you’ll notice the treasure right in front of the hanging fish, which is a Horned Lion Talisman.
That’s everything you need to know about solving the Left Behind Enigma puzzle in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
4. About Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth primary installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While its historical timeframe precedes that of Valhalla, its modern-day framing story succeeds Valhalla’s own.
Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age—in particular during the Anarchy at Samarra—the story follows Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla), a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight for peace and liberty against the Order of the Ancients,[b] who desire peace through control. The main narrative focuses on Basim’s internal struggle between his duties as a Hidden One and his desire to uncover his mysterious past.
